You've done no homework if you think one is a good number. Lol.

You will have zero involvement in game one as well-FACT.

Better focus on improving the defense you are coaching or you'll wind up fired mid season. It's happened recently before.

The last time you were in the box as a non coach on staff at bell it wasn't good for the blue guys. As far as I've been told. Let it go. Coach on. Bell will find a coach you and the amigos dislike soon enough.
1 win and the rest , I guess have no clue. Mark it down.
You want to talk about discipline? are you sure?
Mboro had such a strong defense. Really, do you even here what you are saying.
There is a middlesboro 2016 thread for all this mess. Unless we're talking about getting a coach who cares what's going on with them. But it's not smart to take anyone lightly. Again we have a lot to get solved before we beat anyone let alone a team that has talent and coaching...
We better take care of our own house before we talk of others. Our house is not in order. You have basically describe it. Your in a position to change it, Get it done. We have been on steady decline and we find time to blame others. Do not get me started on this circus. Red rocket it is over ,mI will change threads.

We will see
For what it is worth, I was told Bell is trying to hire the next head coach with this new coach. That way they will be better prepared when this guy decides to retire again. This may make it a whole different ballgame for some. By the way Mills told me several times he was not going to Bell the day before he left.
When will the new coach be introduced?
Trashtalker Wrote:Fred Hoskins will not be apart of bell county football as long as the super is still the super.... Mills can't get a head coaching job anywhere right now he's just job sitting.... Why Lie shouldn't you be worrying what Whitley is doing now since you've moved on to better places...
:problem:
Hoskins has other options and so does Mills. They aren't sitting. Just biding their time from what I'm told. They will both have positions they will be fine.
Closing in on 2000 post and still no hire yet!! Never did I think it would take this long to get a coach at log mountain. ...
Let's remember those in charge today. Richard Gambrel, Tom Lefevers and John Brock Jr. Thanks again. I have been told announcement early this week. Great job guys.
Who's the coach?
Dang I wish they would name a coach so we can start getting our defense set for next year.:1:
Amos will be the bell county coach he was at LMU baseball game over the weekend telling everyone he was hired for the job. They created a middle school AD job for him. Congrats to the kids of bell county for finally getting a coach. My only question is with the big layoff they have coming how are you creating positions..... Still sounds like a mess
When are they going to make announcements of a hire

I think that is a shame that they created an AD job for someone like that. We all ready have and AD that doesn't know what to do why do we need another one just drawing a paycheck.
Amos has been our Coach for weeks, official announcement this week. Everybody needs to know that no teachers are being laid off, a lot of stuff posted on here is from people who's feelings got hurt. I don't like what happened to Coach Mills but we have to move on. It is time to support the new Coach and I know most of the the Bell faithful will. Hopefully he can put together a good staff, I know that is in the process. Go Bobcats

So they didn't create a AD job? Who will be on this good staff?

I think it goes deeper than feelings getting hurt. People's lives got altered by a few dumb azz decsions by those in charge. If you deny that you must be 1 of them.

I agree Catblue. I was at board meeting and it was stated that there will be no layoffs. I hated what happened to our staff too because I thought they all did a good job!! I really wish that they'd all be contacted and consider returning to the Bobcat staff! No matter what happens I will always consider our coaches friends and wish them and their families the best no matter where they end up!! All the Bobcat faithful do need to get behind Coach McCreary and support him the same way we supported Dudley and Coach Mills. We do have to move on and try to continue our winning tradition!! GO CATS!!!

The staff at the HS and coaches of other sports will not get behind him. The creation of the new AD job will ensure that. They already see 1 AD that does nothing but yet makes more money than they do and does nothing during the day? Now the 12th choice for the job comes in and does the same? They just keep making the hole deeper and deeper for the new coach. It is good rhetoric to say get behind them but is anyone making any actions for people to actually do that? As said on here before we need to again thank the administration for this fine mess they have made.
We will see how everyone feels when the losses start coming. They will be jumping ship.
Press Conference? Does anyone know when and where? I can not wait to here Gambrel and this introduction.
Congrats on the new coach. I lost touch with all this a few weeks ago but sounds like it has been a real challenging process. Best to Bell and the players for the coming season.
One question. Ive heard it state several times that players were transferring to other schools. Did any of this really happen or was it just talk?

All Talk
Amos has a 66 percent winning percentage. Went 2-8 last season. No wonder he is taking it. Only place that will hire him
How dare you get on here and state facts!!! I wish someone would ask our committee about those numbers. They don't even know what he did. He was also asked to step down.
