doubt until 4th quarter when Highlands D was gassed from being on field all night do to terrible highlands offense. Because of that I have to lean towards JC in this game.

I understand totally.

Feel the same way when I think of the Cov Cath/Lex Cath game.
If Johnson didn’t hurt Wayne’s QB Wayne would be playing ! Boyle wins by 4 touchdowns. I don’t say this often, but Go Rebels!

Ummmmm

No
Bob Seger Wrote:I can relate to that. My mom passed a couple of years ago and that took a heavy toll on family get together activities.

A lot of the historical sites involving the feud have been preserved, of both on the Hatfield clan (Grapevine area) and the McCoys (Blackberry).

My Hatfields lived in Tennessee.

More like a nervous hospital. I had an ancestor that was there for a while. I'm not crazy but I can get that way in a hurry Smile

Yeah, I'm sure your QB would have personally kept JC from putting 36 points up on the board.

Actually it changed into a youth detention type center after State Hospital closed and before Northpoint Prison was started.
Bob Seger Wrote:Isn't it ironic that half of Ohio, Michigan and Indiana are eastern Kentucky migrants that went north looking for work?

My Dad told me stories of different men in his family going to Indiana to find jobs when he was young.

And you were told that by...…......…..who?

My parents included of the ones that did.

Are you talking about the Kentucky state hospital? My mom has some old silverware with KSH ingraved in them.
This game and the 6a game are very hard to pick. This one could go either way, and turnovers will be the difference one way or another.
Johnson Central 38
Boyle County 41

Between KSH and Northpoint was a Youth Center.

The first step to recovery is admitting there’s a problem...Confusednicker:

Nope. They couldn’t stop JC regardless if he were playing or not
Bob Seger Wrote:I've spent a few days down that way as well, and I like the area very much. I really do. It's certainly a beautiful place, but for someone to insinuate that it is a sophisticated thriving metropolis cultural type center does kinda lead one to snicker.

You just broke my heart, there’s a couple who sure had me fooled!! Haha. Most Boyle people are good hard working folks. There’s a couple arrogant, sh*t don’t stink, type people, but every community has some.
Johnson central 22-20 2pt conv for the win
PHSForever Wrote:More insulted by the one who said they couldn’t even count to 100. When you’ve fought EKy stereotypes your entire life PRECISELY because of people who think like that administrator, it will rub you wrong. Telling me, or Johnson County people (I’m from Pikeville) to get thicker skin shows you don’t even understand what was wrong about what they said in that rally. It’s one thing to say you’re gonna beat the brakes off a team, but to perpetuate a stereotype to a bunch of middle schoolers and others, makes them part of the PROBLEM and continues to reinforce the stereotype.

Hopefully, since we all can’t count to 100 or come out of the holler to get good interweb signal because our horses are tired from plowing our hardscrabble cornfields and tobaccy fields in the side of a mountain while dealing with our barefoot and pregnant wives, this message explaining stereotypes will suffice.
Hahaha, I like that!!!

What time will JC’s horse and carriage be leaving to go to Kroger? I want to be there when they arrive with my cow bell and milk jug full of pennies?

Also, will they have a police escort? After the Winchester exit (98) they might get confused on where to go?

Will Kroger field supply “spitters” on the field for the boys or is it bring your own?

Guys keep the weather in mind, tube tops and under sized sweat pants that say “juicy” stretched out across the back might not be a good fit.

You know in all seriousness I was trying to stay neutral in all of this. While I was leaning towards BC because there’s one person I’d like to see get another ring, after the 2nd video I saw yesterday I just can’t do it. Took the first one pretty light, after the 2nd it appears while it might still be a minority of the good people from Danville, several there need to be brought back down.

And now........ since I know everyone cares...... the moment you’ve all been waiting for........

Lol!!!!!!!!!!
Hoot Gibson Wrote:Perpetuating hillbilly stereotypes has real consequences. I remember my elementary school in central Ohio soliciting old shoes, books, and canned goods to send to eastern Kentucky. There was a widespread impression among school children and teachers that many people were too poor to afford shoes. Add in shows like the Beverly Hillbillies and the media's practice of seeking out the poorest, least educated with the fewest teeth among us to feature in national stories and it is little wonder that large companies are so reluctant to locate new businesses there.

I know what you mean. My aunt use to tell me when I was kid to eat all my food because, “there were starving kids in INDIANA!” Forever I always thought about them poor Hoosiers!!
I’m excited for the game tomorrow!!!!! Going to be a battle.
Pulling for the holler guys. Worst hit ever took in football game was guy lived couple hollers over. Better be ready Rebels and have those chin straps snapped in tight.
I’m from Corbin and I can only count to 10. But that’s all I need....JC 34 to 24!
Boyle by a touchdown
It’s game day and I’m excited to go back to Kroger Field again today to watch the Eagles.
Boyle gets penalized late for 12 men on the field and that moves JC close enough to score the game winning TD.

Gotta be honest, killed me with the juicy. That ain’t just the mountains where that happens!

And friend, if you show up to help us, someone will find you a milk jug full of pennies. Maybe even an extra cowbell. We always need more cowbell.

LET’S GO EAGLES.
