Free from WMSK radio but it might be the feed from NFHS. If so, the video quality isn't great but good enough to follow the action. Expect no announcers, game clock, or scoreboard. Hope I'm wrong but either way, it's free and better than nothing.

As JP mentioned, why doesn't Belfry take charter buses?  Drivers for charter buses drive long trips constantly.  That is their specialty.  With the support Belfry has, I can't imagine money being a huge issue.  Maybe I am wrong.  Regardless, I am hoping and praying for safe travels for everyone.

It’s not a financial thing. It’s a stick to your roots traditional thing. Just the blue collar mindset behind the program. Been taking yellow school bus across the state and out of state for years. Same could be said for the uniforms and helmets having the same style for 40 years. Some may like it, some may not but it is what it is. It’s been done by Coach Haywood since the 80s. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

“Blue Collar”? Yeah, ok. 


The bigger issue to me is having two bus drivers driving a bus full of kids home during the early AM hours with a departure time of 12 midnight EST very likely.  I’d be willing to bet that’s why a 3rd bus driver for the cheerleaders couldn’t be found. Hopefully Richie and Anita have a case full of Red Bull for themselves and for someone to stay awake with them. From a student safety standpoint, this is just absurd. The team should be staying Friday night, too.

In all honesty, the game should be played tomorrow afternoon.  Attendance would’ve been better and player safety via travel wouldn’t even be discussed, but here we are.

That’s what I prefer to do, it just absolutely kills me if Coach Mick and the radio crew are ahead of the visual feed.  I can handle it the other way around though…for whatever reason.

The domination is at the line of scrimmage.  Kudos to those guys up front.  No disrespect to the skill players, but life has been easy for them tonight.  

LOS is where the game is won.  Union County owns it right now.  If that doesn’t change they’re on to state.

Belfry has plenty of playmakers but this is the first Belfry team that I have seen that shys away from physicality on defense. The one thing they always hung their hat on. Refuse to attack the ball carrier or attack the offense.
