Yep. And I agree with you. So lame. Hounds were behind and without a head coach even before the tip. Tony had to sit out the next three games. Shenanigans in south London have forever been a thing. Wonder what it will be this Friday?

Maybe. I wasn't at the Dunk-gate game. Heard the refs were seen laughing it up with some SL folks before coming out on the floor and T-ing up everyone from Corbin and kicking Tony off the court and into exile for three games.
If Corbin wins tomorrow I buy you a drink at the region tourney. If South wins(like they almost always do at that place), you can buy me a drink. lol I hope I'm buying.

Didn’t get to watch the Corbin Evangel game but what happened. Evangel came in at 3-15(I could be wrong) and beat C at Corbin. Someone give us the report because that is a head scratcher

Evangel just got their Point Guard back for the Corbin game. They were 5-14 coming in. Still an inexcusable loss. Corbin was up 9 in the third quarter. Evangel hit a last second shot to send it to overtime. Evangel had a kid hit 12 threes. He made 8 in the second half. Corbin had a hand up on almost all his makes. Not terrible defense. Corbin didn't shoot particularly well again outside of Akins who was 13-21 for 34 points. The 6'6" for Corbin played sparingly. He looked skilled but tried to do too much while he was in. Evan Ellis will be eligible for the North Laurel game. Corbin has had two bad losses in a row but I still think they have a chance to be special. I think the Redhounds have a higher upside than all the top teams listed below. My current rankings:
1) Bell County
2) HC
3) Clay Co
4) South Laurel
5) North laurel

It’s Bell counties to lose at the moment although I would not not want to face SL in a tournament. They have the single most unstoppable force in the 13th

I definitely like Bell at #1. I can't see Clay being the third best team in the region. If that's the case, this region really sucks, aside from the top two.

With Coach Davis and Mr Everything, Mabe, South remains a very dangerous force. Don't sleep on them. They can win this region.

Just last week I had HC at 1, Bell at 2, Corbin at 3, and South at 6!! I didn’t think Bell had a 15 point win over HC in them, didn’t think Corbin would have 2 atrocious performances this weekend, and didn’t think south without their second leading scorer and huge contributor could hold corbin under 40 and somehow still be the team everyone will not want come region time. I think the best way to rank them is to bracket them
1/2 HC and Bell
Neither team misses when they see the rim, i said in another thread that they may be the best two teams in the state behind the three point line. Best senior guard in the state wears red and black, best junior athlete (3 sports) wears blue and white.
3-6 South/Clay/Corbin/North
They can all beat the top two, all have physicality. Just lacking the juice to be consistent enough to be number 1.
7. Knox and Pineville
Fair enough to say that the rest of the 13th region will be salivating over a draw of this district in the first round at the arena.

Looks good to me. I love your team, btw. Really was hoping to see Corbin match up with them in the CFIT but Corbin laid another egg. I would like to see the Hounds go over to Bell in a week and , win or lose, play a really good competitive ball game. I'm not very confident that will happen, at this point. Something is amiss with the Hounds. They better get it fixed in the next couple or three weeks.

Early in the year I predicted that either HC or SL would win a trip to Rupp this year and for the most part I still believe one of those 2 teams are most likely to win that trip, but one would have to be living in a cave to not see and realize that Bell has joined the conversation.. There are 3 other teams that we have to consider to be threats to win a game and possibly 2 games, but not likely to have enough to pull off 3 13th region games in a row. If HC and SL draw opposite brackets I think there is a real good chance they meet in the finals, but I’m sure there some Bell Co faithful that would disagree. It’s all good discussion and debate this year due to the fact that more than one or two teams are playing pretty darn good basketball this year…..

The next 5 games for South Laurel might be the toughest 5 game stretch for anyone in the state all year. Woodford, Harlan County, Great Crossing, Madison Central, Jtown all have been ranked in the top 25 most of the season and GC very well can be state champs in a few weeks. If South Laurel wants to prove they are legit without Steele it happens right now.
Bell County has established themselves as a true number 1, but the gap between them and 5 or 6 is tighter than ever. With the Knox win at Clay, it now becomes 7 spots. Bell has Corbin and at Knox left, and if they win those with the other games they will be 25-4. If he adds another game to get to 30 and go 26-4, im sure there hasn’t been a Bell County team have 26 wins in a regular season. I believe last year the record was broken at 24.

I disagree. I think you have Bell(the best team), HC(pretty close behind), Mabe(dangerous) , then a bunch of mediocre teams. I doubt Corbin, Knox, North or Clay changes my mind in the next few weeks but we'll see.

Well for 1 Jeff Davis has won 1 region championship in 14 years with one of the top teams in the region year in and year out. And that’s not likly to change.
With Corbin’s additions they will more then likely be the favorite to win the region, on top of the fact they have players that’s been there before playing in the last 2 region championships. Will find out a little more where they stand tonight. North would be your next best odds of winning the region
