I always thought she was a gorgeous woman. Incredibly powerful voice. I thought you'd get a kick out of this clip from Carson. I've never seen Bert Reynolds as "hot and bothered" as he was when Laura took a seat beside him. This was hilarious. I have to admit, Bert was right. She was HOTT!!!
Sorry about the quality. Some of the clip has been removed. Bert was wiping himself down with tissues and passed some to Ed, as well. Bert & Johnny was quite impressed with Ms Branigan. LOL

I can't tell you how much I miss that 80's music and those videos. I remember watching this stuff for hours. We didn't care about the cheesiness level of the videos. We just loved the music. LOL

CORRECT!!! Music is a uniter. Politics is a divider. Great time for a thread like this . I love all my conservative buddies on here. Might disagree on some issues, but better to focus on what we have in common, such as good music. I like to make people laugh and not take life too seriously. Life can be rough, man, Gotta try to laugh and have fun, including with people you disagree with. I know I've mentioned this so many times but it's worth repeating. Ronald Reagan and House Speaker Tip O' Neil - a staunch conservative and a diehard Massachusetts liberal- fought like cats and dogs from 9am to 5pm on policy disagreements. But after 5pm, they were the best of buddies. In fact, that's how they referred to each other. They called each other, ' ol' buddy." They even dined with one another after the day was over. That has been gone from Washington for a long time. Reagan and Tip would be very sad today, imo.
