[color=var(--yt-spec-text-primary)]Today is early March, 2024.  This has been my favorite song since its first release in December, 1975.  A very busy life has kept me away from staying informed as to Gary's health, and, it was just today that I read these comments below that told me Gary had passed away on 9/4/23.  I am devastated to learn this.  Devastated.  This performance tears at my heart.  I am so very sorry he went through so much.  He was and is a happy soundtrack to my life and "Dream Weaver" is always playing in my car and my home.  Thank you, Ted, for posting this video.[/color]

Always loved DANCING IN THE MOONLIGHT. Takes me right back to the great year of 1972. Saw my first Rehounds playoff game that year( we lost 42-8 to Boyd County at Campbell Field). The coldest I had ever been in my life. lol

One of my biggest crushes back in the day. I would have packed up and moved across country to be with this gal. From all I've ever read, she was one of the nicest people  ever in the music business. Everyone loved working her. Neil Young wrote this and she sent it to the moon:



Laura Branigan (Aug 26, 2004).  Just 52 years old.  Brain aneurysm.

Another one of my 80's crushes. My mother(RIP) loved this singer , too .  Forever young, Laura. Thank you.

Probably my favorite balladeer from the '70's/80's. Gone way too soon. Only 57 years old. From all accounts, a wonderful man.  poet. What a voice!!! What a poet!!!
