Abingdon High School in Abingdon Va has suspended there coach for 2 games and word is from someone in the central office at Washington Co. that Kevin Saunders has told them that he"d take the job after this season ends at SV

The Jumpers are coming off a open week and Williamsburg is coming off a win against Pineville. Any thoughts???

I got to see Morgan Friday against West Carter. I was impressed even though West held on to win the game 20-14. Powell lost to West Carter 61-26 last week and to Russell 55-0 Friday. Morgan hasn't won a game this season and is looking for it's first win of the year. Powell is looking for it's first district win and the game is at Powell county. Morgan has returned 4 injured starters and I think that will be enough. Either way I look for a good game for a must-win for both teams. Good luck to both teams but I saw Morgan play West and in my eyes take away all the fumbles and Morgan wins by 2 touchdowns. I think Powell will come out fired up for a win but I still give Morgan the edge with the return of some key players back. Morgan's D shut West down for 3 quarters after giving them a 20-0 first Quarter lead.

Western lead 21-7 at the half. Game was stopped due to Lightning and Etown declined on finishing on another day. Good move I'd say. I think this proves how good Western really is because Etown is always in the hunt up there.
