This one is going to get ugly and in a hurry. The difference in this game will be in the trenches. JC is overwhelmingly strong on both the D and O-lines and will have this one over early. With JC's D-line, JC will contain Daniel Pugh and make it a long night for the entire Paintsville offense, not to mention the two JC headhunters Blake Johnson and Micheal Tackett. The running attack of JC is going to make the score keepers and video mans neck sore from watching JC running up and down the field all night. This one could be possibly the worst blowout in the history of the Apple Bowl. My prediction:
Johnson Central: 77
Paintsville: 0

What will be the eagles record when the season is done?

Schedule looks like this so far:
Russell Red Devils 2007 calendar:
First week--- open
Greenup at Russell
Ashland at Russell
Russell at Boyd
Russell at West Carter -District game
Lewis at Russell - District game
Mason at Russell - District game
Russell at East Carter -District game
Russell at Lawrence County--- official !!!!
SOMEONE at Russell------waiting to be finalized this Thursday !!!!! Get ready.
RUSSELL AT RACELAND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DONE !!!!!!!!
The open game is guaranteed to be a barn burner for Russell, very good opponent coming in to visit.......... Cant say who...

If your team (And this is too the staff as well) Can play football (And you Can!!!) As well as you did against The Belfry sqaud!! YOU WILL BE THE STATE (A) CHAMPIONS!!!!! Just get the penalties down, and for the luv of the game DONT DROP THE BALL!!!!! And thats for all teams!!!!!! Belfry included!!!!!! Mistakes loses games!!! Minimize ,and you guys will be Danndy!!

Trinity leads it 10-0 before the weather delay. Not sure what point in the game they were when the game was stopped. The game will be ruled an official win for Trinity and loss for St. X if the game is not resumed.

This was actually a better played game than what the score says..... At the end of the 3rd quarter the score was 23-16... Phelps scored 1st!! They really played well tonight but just don't have any kids to move in and out and it wore them down!! Congrats to both teams on a well played game!!!

Final
This was accually a really close game neither team could move the ball real well Lynn Camp gave the game away with a bad snap on their first punt which gave the ball to Harlan on the 20 yardline Harlan would score to make the Game 7-0. after a couple of swaps of the ball Lynn Camps Sidney Wagner would break a run to the Harlan 5 yardline with 1minute left in the half Harlan would stop the Cats on the 3yd line to end the half. Sidney Wagner was hurt on the last play and would leave the game.
In the 3rd Lynn Camp got the ball to start the half harlan would block a punt on that possesion and return it to the 6 yardline and go in to score to make the game 14-0.
The Last Harlan score of the game would come after an I.T. that was returned to the 10 yardline the would go on to score
Then in the 4th Joe Roskopf would break an 70 yard run to score and they would get the 2 point conversion to make it 21-8
Lynn Camp would go for the onside kick with 6:00 on the clock in the 4th and fail on the following 3rd down Josh Smith would get an interseption but the lynn camp drive would stall after Illegal blocking penalty on a 4th down that Lynn Camp would of Converted so they punted and got it off this time
Harlan's drive would stall and Lynn Camp once again got the ball and took it to the 10 yard line and 2 dropped Touch down passes later they gave the ball to Harlan on the 10 with 3 seconds on the clock and with a final run play harlan would take the victory 21-8

:yikes: the score says it all

Four wins in a row now for Taylor County. 1-0 in district play and a very realistic chance of making the playoffs this season....good win Cardinals!

Hey Guys,
I thought I'd open up a thread and see how many of you all would like to have a meeting and introduce ourselves before the game on october 6th between Belfry\P'Burg at Belfry. I'll be in on Vacation during that time and would love to finally meet you all. I think it would be good to meet up at the flagpole at the corner of the staduim by the school since it is a wide out of the way location of the main gate. What time would be a good time for all of to get together and would you like to meet somewhere else...up for suggestions....
Hope to see you all there.
