This thread is about the Highlands-Dixie Heights game, which Highlands won 52-9. I don't understand why the talk is about Towles not measuring up to Bardo or Simon Kenton giving Highlands a real fun for the money.
If you ask me, I think more people should be asking why Dixie can't seem to put together a better product on the football field than they do. They did the unthinkable back in 2004 when they knocked the defending state champ Trinity out of the (old) 4A playoffs, and since that game I can only recall one "big" win for the program, and that was during the 2007 regular season when Dixie defeated CovCath (CovCath then got their revenge and beat Dixie later that year in the playoffs).
When your program's most notable win in five years is a regular-season victory over a program (CovCath) in the midst of a "down" cycle, something is wrong, in my opinion.
What is going on???
