First of all, WOW, that was the most beautiful high school football facilities I have ever seen in person. Black Bear Nation should be very proud.

Note to self..... Do not sit on the opposing teams side between people called Granny Bear, Filthy Animal, & Mama Bear & root for the opposing team. I was worried I wouldn't make it out of Harlan County alive. Especially stop telling them I told you so. Anyone can ask Granny about the PM's I sent her to not listen to the we are young, we get better later, we have so many question marks about this years team, blah blah blah. Simply put Belfry is Belfry. Did I expect them to beat Harlan? Yes I did as I predicted, but by 8 more points than I predicted. Does this mean Harlan is not what I expected? NO, it means Belfry is better than I expected.

Some people are posting Harlan beat themselves. The game I seen Belfry beat Harlan. If it was not for several dropped passes this game could have been very ugly. #71 on defense was taking on 2 O-lineman every snap & was just completely clogging the middle. He is a beast of a young man. To many different players contributing to mention all of them. #71 was just so big he was hard to miss.

Thanks so much to all the Bear ladies for your hospitality & food.

I already miss playing Belfry, but after seeing them play I am glad they are not on the schedule this year.

Good luck to both teams the remaining season. You both have teams you should be very proud of. Great game!!! Glad I made the trip.

Yell Belfry dropped 2 td passes or the score would of been worse. Looks like a good thing them Blackcats did drop belfry. They will get beat at Betsy Layne. Not very good this year.
