Romney vs. Obama

TheRealVille Wrote:[Image: https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-a...6149_n.jpg]

Yeah right, that's way over the top worse than a sitting president cutting a side deal with the Russian president, the details of which would certainly cost him votes if not the election out of hand. Therefore the Russian president will wait to see if Obama wins or not before pressing on to negotiate away our advantage in national defense.

Just like Obama's campaign theme..."Forward"

What a coincidence that theme has been used by several socialist/communist movements in the past.

Then he officially launches his campaign on Karl Marx's birthday...coincidence? I think not.

It's common knowledge. You know, the kind that educated people learned in school. Former Senate Leader, Democrat Robert Byrd was even a Grand Kleagle in the KKK, or something like that. He recruited fellow Democrats to the racist organization and then led the fight for segregation in DC.

Don't know much about your Southern History huh? Did you go to the snopes page and read it?

Seth Rogan is just another example of a rich guy trying to win over fans to watch his movie because his target audience is gay and gayer along with college kids.

I don't think that's the case RIUTG, I think he's just another Hollywood liberal...that's what nearly all of them are.

Ku Klux Klan
In the early 1940s, Byrd recruited 150 of his friends and associates to create a new chapter of the Ku Klux Klan.
According to Byrd, a Klan official told him, "You have a talent for leadership, Bob ... The country needs young men like you in the leadership of the nation." Byrd later recalled, "Suddenly lights flashed in my mind! Someone important had recognized my abilities! I was only 23 or 24 years old, and the thought of a political career had never really hit me. But strike me that night, it did." Byrd held the titles Kleagle (recruiter) and Exalted Cyclops. When it came time to elect the "Exalted Cyclops", the top officer in the local Klan unit, Byrd won unanimously.
In 1944, Byrd wrote to segregationistMississippi Senator Theodore G. Bilbo:
I shall never fight in the armed forces with a ***** by my side ... Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.
—Robert C. Byrd, in a letter to Sen. Theodore Bilbo (D-MS), 1944
In 1946 or 1947, Byrd wrote a letter to a Grand Wizard stating, "The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia and in every state in the nation." However, when running for the United States House of Representatives in 1952, he announced "After about a year, I became disinterested, quit paying my dues, and dropped my membership in the organization. During the nine years that have followed, I have never been interested in the Klan." He said he had joined the Klan because he felt it offered excitement and was anti-communist.
Quote:It's common knowledge. You know, the kind that educated people learned in school. Former Senate Leader, Democrat Robert Byrd was even a Grand Kleagle in the KKK, or something like that. He recruited fellow Democrats to the racist organization and then led the fight for segregation in DC.

How could anyone possibly disagree with the fact that the majority of the Southern KKK members were democrat?

During and after reconstruction, the radical Dems wanted to return the South to Democratic power. The KKK did their best to help out by essentially blocking voting by African Americans and running republicans out of office via threats of violence and voter intimidation.

Naive just means you are as yet uninformed. I'll let you in on a little secret. The text books schools use these days have doctored. Especially where national historical records are concerned. Robert C Byrd's association as a rather high ranking officer with the KKK is a widely known fact. A fact that has been conveniently kept quiet by the CBC and others because he turned later in life to espouse the causes of black folks. (you'd call changing one's mind like that flip-flopping) Teachers hate Wiki because the articles on history and social matters tend not to lean 'left enough' for them. Trashing conservatives with reckless abandon some of the time, and claiming to be offended the rest of the time ought to ring a bell for you. I can assure you nobody wants to hurt your feelings.

I disagree, you have referred to conservatives in derogatory terms, just as I often refer to dems as being in high orbit. I don't know you, so I can't say I dislike you. I do know that you give no quarter when it comes to your defense of the leftist policies of this administration, policies which I find very offensive. It is those policies I speak out against.

i have not referred to conservatives in dirogatory terms whatsoever. i do defend the policies of this administration and you should look at it with an open mind if you look at it with an open mind you will see it better you can't look at things with a closed mind

Okay, so you're one of the good guys, my appologies. In order to actually defend this administration you'll need to supply some facts to refute my posts. Go ahead and explain to me your favorite successful policy from this administration. Later we'll talk about your brash assertion that I am closed minded, LOL.

easy it's the health care policy makes coverage more affordable and more people are covered i don't see what is so bad about more people having coverage that couldn't afford it

Middle (I refuse to call you WIDEMiddle, you haven't earned your Wide name) you are an example of this current generation and how weak it is. Offended? Come on dude. I argue on here with Wildcatk23, TRV, amongst others. I do not let their political views bother me, even though I disagree they have their opinions. You need to toughen up bud.

And as Seger mentioned, try paying an insurance premium. Then you'll be against obamacare in a heartbeat.

LOL, I said 'explain it' not name it. 2,500 pages of random thoughts laws and regulations, written by hundreds of staffers, and I have yet to hear anybody brave enough to say they have anything past a rudimentary understanding of the so-called ObamaCare Act, and you come up with what, two sentences? Not exactly a big night for the fact checkers now is it?

Whoa, whoa, whoa - This BS stops now! If you guys want to go to the outhouse and piss on each others socks, then you are going to do it outside of these threads! I've heard enough complaints about stupid comments in the political threads, now I get it! Clean this garbage of personal attacks up immediately, or vacations will be granted free of charge! This is stupid!

Go ahead and make my day, Dusty. It sounds like RV has run whining to the moderators again after getting his feelings hurt. If not, then he would have come to you crying again soon.

When moderators create clone accounts and start screwing around with people's avatars, it is time to move on. You can issue me one of those perma-bans if you want. Either way, I will not post here again.

Don't take my comments personally, Dusty. I have enjoyed our basketball debates and have no complaints about what you do here but I prefer a moderated format with more balanced political threads.

With that said, I will bid all of you all a good-bye and good luck.

P.S., Wilt Chamberlain was the most dominant player in NBA history.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo come back Hoot!!!!!!!

Sad post, but Hoot is right on every count top to bottom. LIKE if you want Hoot to come back!
^ Hoot, Wilt was the most dominant player of his era - that was the era of 6-6 white CentersConfusednicker:

As for clone accounts, I just IP searched the accounts that have posted in this thread, and no staff member has one of these accounts (I would not have commented at all if I found one) - thus there is nothing for me to hide!

As for Perma-Banning, it's not going to happen! We can do this as adults! That's all I want! Hoot, you know as well as anybody, I love to argue with everybody (And I might have even lost ONE ((But not the Wilt one :ClapSmile) but we have to keep the personal comments and attacks out! Thus, I have full confidence that everyone knows where I am coming from and can at least give me enough respect to let the name calling end! Fight guys, you know I support fighting, but for crying out loud, let's not use our fictitious user names to lob ficticious verbal hand grenades at each other!

Hoot, you are not going anywhere, because just like me, you love an argument (good or bad, dumb or insightful, it just doesn't matter as long as it's an argument!) If you didn't have BGR to argue with, then you would have to do it all at home......:welcome:

Now, for God's sake

I have stated 100 times there is no moderator multiple accounts.
