mitchell is the best player on clays team followed by hooker. hooker didnt do anything that special in the game. he had 7 points, a three from about half court at the end of the half, a free throw, and a three near the end of the 4th that was luckily made. perry was way more worried about mitchell than they were hooker. they face guarderd him the whole night without leaving him at all. perry made someone beside mitchell beat them and clay couldnt do it. they made the mistake of letting mitchell take over last game which is how they got back in the game and won.

Clay was in this game despite Mitchell not scoring. If it weren't for Hooker, this game don't go down to the wire and Perry wins by double digits.

Hooker didn't score in the WYMT game and Clay still won because of Mitchell. JV is a huge talent. If he would have been injury free the last 2 years it's untelling how good he may be, but Mitchell is more valuable to this team. Not only does he score, he leads them in rebounds, assists, and is their best fundamental defender. He has came a long way since he was a freshman. Don't get me wrong Hooker is great, probably better talent wise than Mitchell, but Mitchell does all the little things well and is more valuable to his team than anybody around. They go as he goes.

Would have enjoyed watching Clay County last year if John Vernon had not been injured. J. V. Hooker is so talented and does so much on the Clay County team that isn't recorded.
