baseline Jumper Wrote:Wade was at open gym this week at JC shooting around with the guys and looking pretty comfortable. He could step in and be the MVP on that team because he would bring some much needed stability to that team.
BJ Moore is hands down the best player in the 15th next year. Parker is a top 10 but closer to number 10 because he cant keep his head screwed on right during a game. I would not put Maclanahan in the top 10 at all. He is big but has a lot of quit in him. He should be way more dominate than he has shown. I do like Hairston and Pinson from Belfry they could be a team to watch out for this year. I also agree that kids from SV could suprise some folks this year. SV had a lot of games that those guys got playing time in. wont take long to get them where they need to be.
Not gonna happen .....watch Parker take the back seat and see what his head does then. If stability is what Wade can bring to JC maybe he should apply for assistant coach. As for him even transferring to JC , like I said his family better be making a move quickly !!! Then one must ask themselves ....is it worth a move to get an average high school basketball player noticed. I am guessing that his transferring will be closely looked at and probably questioned by plenty.

Wade is hardly AVERAGE as you mention... His head smarts @ PG and shooting makes him a Top 5 in any region, average is not a 20 pts a game your JR year. I expect he will play college for a small Div 1 school or JUCO, NAIA weather or not he choices football or basketball. By leaving it would permit him to show his talent with a low post player that will demand teams not to double or triple team Wade on a consistant level. Sounds like you might be worried he will transfer. As for the move, I'm sure Wades parents are aware of the moving situation. KHSAA rules does not say you have to move on a certain date to be eligble.

OK, Wade is above average in the 15th then....hows that. He is a talented player but not the best out there which makes this average to me. I am not knocking him at all. His parents able to just buy another home wherever, rent or sale and just move remains to be seen. Like I have said if He is great it doesn't matter where he is at. I really dont care if he leaves LC or not, nothing to me.

I checked on the KHSAA website and he only avg. 17.5 a game.
And dont say 2.5 points isnt alot becuase how many games are won by 2 pts or less...

all players are competing for the number three spot to be honest..
skaggs and parker has 1 and 2 locked.. cant compare them though because they are different types of players..

Wade has made 15th region team 2 years in a row..
hes is currently playing AAU ball with one of the best teams in the state..
sounds above average to me.
if he was just average, everyone wouldnt be freaking out and posting on here about him moving.. just saying with him jc gets an additional 20 point scorer per game..

wade is a nice 15th region player, but to say he is a division 1 player is just crazy. that being said he goes to jc they will be the best team in the region, by far

I love how we just throw around D1 all the time like it's common. Look at the kids who have received D1 scholarships from KY this season. He's not in that league. And that's okay. I hope he gets his education paid for somewhere and is able to continue to play basketball if that's his desire.

I'm not meaning to knock Wade, but how many shots did he shoot per game? It's easy to average near 20 ppg when you shoot the ball 15-20x per game.
A lot of people get the wrong impression when it comes to kids scoring 20-25 pts a game, because the kids shoot their arms off to get that.
Again, I'm not knocking him, just giving some food for thought.

Anyone that watches Wade play can tell you he plays withing the game. If anything he should shoot more. His points usually comes from 25 to 30 ft much behind the normal 3 pt arc. He doesnt shoot normal 3's and to average 20 is a major task considering people are keying on him constantly. As Ive said next year if he does play at JC watch Wade put up big numbers with PArker down low taking some heat off him. I saw Wade the other day at open gym and he is much thicker than last year and he will dominate next year in the paint or outside. He needs to improve and work on his first step/ball handling then I expect him to get a schlorship. I could see him playing D1 as point guard and a spot shooter. Heck if I remember Travis Ford played at the best college in the nation at 5 9" and did very well. Just my opinion!

EYESPYJC Wrote:This list is interesting ???? Wade is a nice BBall player but not no.1 compared to the rest of your list, but you are entitled to an opinion. As far as Wade transferring to JC .....Good luck w/ that, better be moving soon and the apartment thingy probably isn't gonna work. Besides, why would he come to JC and become the not best player on the team ??? If Wade is such the superstar he will get noticed at LC just fine.
He wants to have a 3rd district title and make it to rupp and play under a bigger spotlight any player would do that to get noticed.. lets take chad and dakota both xferrring to scott county???:thanks:

I heard that Wade has been participating in open gym with Elliott County and was seriously considering in moving there.
