mr.big Wrote:haha whatever you say..... they will dominate in region. wolfe co wins one game and think they have won a freakin national championship. its ok though a blind squirrel gets an acorn every now and then. :flame::worthy:
Only thing I know that blind squirrel (The Wolves) gets another championship and they go into the region as a champion.. Which could be a big advantage...:1:

That is why 2 of the 3 are going to the boys state tourney, must be able to call pretty well or know how to suck up pretty good, maybe both. :Cheerlead

I disagree with you 100%. That game last night was NOT called fairly. I will NEVER agree with you no matter what you say. They can ref in the SEC and it won't change my mind.

You people are so sad, Breathitt's coach got his #1 ref on the game and got take Wolfe's #1 off of the game and you people still want to blame the refs. Why can't you just say we got out played and out coached and be done with it. Breathitt has scored 80 and 90 pts a game all year and their coaches just thought they would do it in tournament time and that just don't happen teams have game plans for other teams. Maybe your coach should get out and scout teams a little more and come up with a game plan of his own. Wolfe knew everything Breathitt done thats what tournament basketball is about.

Breathitt didn't play their best game. Ritchie, Hayes, and Terry combined for 14 points and they all have the ability to be big time scorers. I am just stating the fact that the game was not called even steven right down the middle. That is a fact.

Noble went to Owsley Co. and accomplished nothing but coming in and being one-and-done, when he told the administration that he was planning on staying in Owsley and messing up one year of eligibility for his nephew Nick.
With the talent he has at Breathitt, looks like he's not done much better.
Coaching at the high school level is a little different than the middle school level. The holdbacks in middle school have more of an advantage than they do in high school.
In high school one has to do some more coaching instead of just putting bigger/older kids out there to play smaller/younger kids.
Just an observation from an outsider.
Sounds like Owsley had a bit of LUCK ---:thanks:

Coach Nobel is a good coach , watched them beat Corbin earlier this year. I was really impressed cause Corbin only lost 3 times this year, loved his running offence. From an outsiders view and reading this thread it would be hard for anybody to win where there is so much politics and jealousy.Do the kids a favor and wait till the region is over, then bash all you want.

i'm not going to say anything about his coaching. But, championship teams are able to play fast and are able to play slow. Breathitt has been unable to prove to anyone they can win a game in the 40's and 50's. Everyone loves to score in the 90's that's why the old quote holds true..."Offense sells tickets...Defense wins Championships"

Did not see this one coming at all. Congrats Wolves.

The road ends in the first round unless they draw Powell.

Wow, another surprising game. Should there be a rematch in the Region finals?

This is truly a shocker. Last season Wolfe won at Campton and had a better team than Breathitt. I thought that with the district at Breathitt and with the quality of team that Breathitt had that this would be a blow out. Congrats to Coach Creech and the Wolves.
Good Luck to both teams in the region. I would hate to be a winner and draw Breathitt.

03-01-2010, 10:17 AM
breathitt just needs to come together and play as a team they aint played as a team since the first game of the season u want to win big games team work helps alot
03-01-2010, 10:18 AM

it seems like he has done a good job since basketball in Breathitt isnt there 1 pick but what I have seen it has some along way from where it was at. They have won alot of game and come close on some other ones that they should have won but people like you just want to keep the team down dont matter what they do. that is what is wrong with alot of team around here people like you just want to bring every thing down the good or bad give it a break ::dontthink
03-03-2010, 07:18 PM
breathitt didnt have their best game and wolfe came to play and won what can you say
03-04-2010, 10:30 AM
yeah breathitt has became a 1 man ball team i think.........come together and play as a d*** team
03-04-2010, 07:30 PM
Congrats to the Wolves. With that being said it is a disgrace for Wolfe County to beat Breathitt two years in a row for the district title.
