Why not just start out in varsity? They will have players from Shelby Co. that have been playing football for years. Other than learning a new offense and defense they should be fine. Best way to learn is to be thrown in the fire! Good luck to MLC!

It states on the KHSAA web site that final replacement of both schools will be determined during the 2009-10 school year. It doesn't say in 4A. If it was 4A would it they be split in different districts? Perhaps District 3 and 4?

From what I heard both teams would be put in District 4 with Bullitt East, LaRue County, Marion County, and North Bullitt.

Jerry Lucas has a strong chance at becoming the head coach. He is the current offense coordinator for Shelby County.
