Good effort by the Dores. CC is a very good team. Coming in and getting wins at Valley and Perry is tough and to do it back to back nights even tougher.

The turning point in the game was when Martin got the T. It was a tie game in the 4th quarter and Perry had the ball. CC made the two foul shots and got the ball back and we never saw the lead again. Hickey is REALLY good. He took over the game in the second half. He hit several 3s with a hand in his face. Perry went with the 2-3 matchup and it worked until they got behind and had to foul. I think it will be very effective against most teams and Perry should use it more. Noble played great once again, I guess CC never saw a scouting report on him lol. To come into SV and PCC and come out with wins on back to back nights is very impressive. I don't think any other team in the mountains could have played with this bunch. But congrats CC and Perry get ready for Knott on Friday!
Why did Martin get a T?

He got fouled and said something to the player that fouled him and the ref was right there and gave him a T. Big momentum shift. Perry goes from having the ball in a tie game to being down two and CC's ball.

I heard martin never even said a word that player from CC called him a name and he just nodded his head to and the ref just lost his mind all in all a very terrible call

Congrats to PCC on playing a very good CC team close. The one stat thar I see that the 14th region teams should worry about is that Noble is starting to fine his shot from the three point line something he has not done well earlier in the season. If on, he IMO is one of the best 3 pt. shooters in the 14th.

This game was closer than I predicted, Congrats to Perry for playing well and representing the 14th region. I'd like to see us win these close games to good teams though. Perry seems to be playing good ball right now!

Congrads to the DORES for playing a good game. Noble shot the ball great, Salyers came off the bench and changed the game. Amis play hard and handle the pressure better than I thought he would. If Perry could make their free throws it would have been a different outcome (JMO). I think the Mullins has got to be more aggressive. But if Perry can continue to play like that and get Mullins attacking the Rim, they will be hard to handle in the Region!!!!

Worst call I have ever seen. The kid had been jawing with Martin all night long calling him a fat white boy and Martin I'm sure saying whatever back, but if you don't call anything the whole game, you sure in the heck don't call it when the game is tied and it is going to have a major effect on the game. Martin got fouled, one official called it and Martin bounced the ball hard on the ground and caught it and said "YEAH" a little loud OR something to that effect, so another official away from the play, the Mario looking one, gave him the T for taunting the other kid. Totally ridiculous! Great way to help decide a game. Very poor case of judgement if you ask me! :devilflam

Tough loss for Perry Central, but least they showed that they could play with the big boys.

It was the turning point in the game. Perry never saw the lead again. If what Wall4President said was correct, then that's really a joke.

Worse than Charlie Kirk. :redboxer:
