I can remember going to Covington and beating them in the rain and about 4-5 inches of mud. It was a mess but man it was beautiful.

 Pretty good. Atleast some can give and take.
Boyle is not off they travel to Christian Co. to take on very good team in what will be the best test of 09 regular season for the Rebels.
Weather forcast has changed somewhat for tommorow night the chance of rain is diminishing.

I wonder when a moderator is going to shut this thread down? This is downright nasty. I don't have a dog in this fight. I was just amusing myself a bit.
Regarding the game; I know very little about either team but I would have to say that Bell is a heavy favorite. I have already picked Bell 10,000 - 2 earlier in this thread. Back to reality though, would picking Bell by three touchdowns be realistic? Apparently Harlan has a decent team.

You didn't have a dog in the fight but you threw some little poodle in there after all. :yikes:
You're the judge so you can shut it down.
Bell will have to be ready tomorrow night. Harlan Co. has gotten better each week. 3 td's is a good guess.

I would think that would be. Harlan "black" is a good team. They run the ball on offense have good size and some speed at RB postion. They play the "Rock" style Tony Saylor defense so at times it can be very dominating especially for the teams that have not faced it before.
I would look for Bell to shut down the starters once they get it under control and would not be suprised if Harlan does not dress a few players. I feel they are a real threat in the 5A region this year. Them and Whitley are my favorites to win that Region with LCC a close 3rd.

I honestly cant stand the fans on here from Bell County that thinks they are the dominance of Kentucky High School Football under estimating a team that has done really well this season, Harlan County is IMO considered a tough smashmouth football team that has battled game in game out to earn top spots on the polls, they've earned my respect overall, the three schools that consolidated into Harlan County has inherited rich historic memories together as programs (Cumberland,Cawood and Evarts) I think. Harlan County will be a threat in the Class 5A regional and state semi-finals within the next 5 years. For Bell fans to talk low to do that to such a team that has made a mark already with tough adversity to earn a spotlight in Class 5A and Bell County has really had their match against Alcoa, but the score indicated that they should of not even showed up and not yet been tested in the Bluegrass, earlier in the season, they under estimated Marion and look what happened, barley won which I should think that would loose some voting points and give either Boyle,Lexington Catholic,Lone Oak big lifts. This upcoming friday a true team with such adversity will so up with young men that want something that means alot to them not only a upset but respect from a winning program not a superior program like Bell fans worship them to be. But in reality speaking based on stats, titles and accomplishment,Programs like St. X,Trinity,Danville,Beechwood,Mayfield,or Highlands which are considered superiors. I promise after this ball-game is over, the birth of this hyped rival that a topic started will emerge rapidly as one of the most storied in years to come in the state of Kentucky. I mean what games can you say on that schedule were impressive "Marion" wow terrible schedule to win 7 games but you barely beat them, "Whitley", wow a little tougher team scheduling wise but played three or 4 losing teams to have winning record, "Knox", Home-field advantage, "McCreary" 6-3 wow, wins from weak schedule, "Rock" wow young team with tough schedule. Politically speaking besides Alcoa which you all lost and this upcoming friday on Harlan County, you all got your toughest game going into this one and the playoffs when Knox and Boyle come near you so I have a descent grasp on football, think again and the bell county fan base better be ready and don't count Harlan County out on it either.

Well put Rock, but there from Bell, there never going too shutup, easyM and Bobcatdad and whoever else has there noses stuck up in the air with a bell hat on, Just let Harlan co. or Boyle beat them pretty bad, maybe that'll shut em up, and they have no life anyway but to just follow the football team around, and then get on here and put down there opponents.

Good Article on the game! Figure i'd share it on here. Anyways i am a good Bell County Supporter don't hate me for cheering on my team. I know harlan County is going to be tough. I never said we were unbeatable. I mean we already have 1 loss this year to prove it. but as the season has progressed we gotten better n better each week!:devilflam

You should not even put Harlan and Boyle in the same sentence.
As a Bell fan we understand the type program Boyle has.

I do think Boyle County will be watching this game very closely. The Black Bears will be traveling to Log Mountain and they will be the underdawgs with intentions of upsetting the Bobcats. I got faith in my Black Bears, they'll represent Harlan County well and with pride. GO BLACK BEARS!!!!!

Great article and it will be a good game in my opinion but bell will pull away late but give them a few years and it will be a slugfest every game for a very long time
