BellCoBobcats09 Wrote:They possible could? The way Bell Co is improving week after week is getting kinda of scary. They did all this tonight without there #2 rusher from last years team. IMO the State Semi game that should be against Bell Co and Boyle Co should be your 2009 State Champions this year. I think the Alcoa game prepared them for this season. I want to know from other fans that were there tonight others and Whitley Co fans. What do you think of Cory Davenport? I said earlier in the year that if you didnt know him you would very quick this year.:1:
I think he's awesome. Plain and simple. Haha. Very, very talented.
Congrats on having him on your team haha.
I'm still shocked at how good your alls running game is.
Can't say anything bad about Bell in this game though, they're just good.
So congratulations bobcats on the win.

Bell is getting SCARY good! Quality win.

To be honest guys I didn't think Bell Co would improve this quick. Bell Co lost 13 seniors last year. This team is getting kinda scary considering how young they are. Bell Co plays Soddy Daisey which is another team from outside of Chattanooga, TN. Have no idea of what there about so Im worried about that game. Hopefully Bells coaches will venture down that way next Friday and watch them play in person since Bell is off Friday.

Don't want to sound like I am rubbing it in but were is Redstorm???? I thought he said we would get our "tails kicked" and "physically whipped"??????? Looks like he underestimated the "KILLER BABY BOBCATS"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is probably in a state of shock with predictions like that. He should have know that the Bobcats mean business when it comes to football games.
Great win Bobcats way to take care of business:Clap:

Good game Bell Co.

In some ways I really didn't like playing Alcoa but I really believe Bell is a better team making the team believe that we can be beat and must work hard every down ,everything! Hope we continue getting better and peak at playoffs and win it all again. I BELIEVE!!!!!

Great win for Bell County! Sounds like the Davenport kid racked up some yardage in this game. Great luck to the Bobcats in the coming games.
I sat with Randall Cobb last night at the Alcoa game and he was telling the fans how much he loved UK and its program. He is recruiting some of our kids hard for the Kentucky program!! He spent his afternoon at the school with some of the coaches and players, it was good to have him home for a weekend.
Good luck with Soddy Daisy; they are not an easy team to beat but I think the advantage goes to Bell County. We will be hearing alot more about that Davenport kid - he sure did impress me. Alcoa fan

Seems like the skills players get most of the attention rightly deserved but how would rate Bells linemen and what they are doing?
09-12-2009, 02:34 PM
Bells lineman are doing there job opening big holes up for the RB's!!
09-12-2009, 02:40 PM
I think the 99yrd drive says alot for the O-line. And the D-line is tuff as they come all round.IMO

GREAT POINT! They are playing really well and getting better every week. They replaced 2 OL and 2 DL from last year but are doing a good job. Those kids seem to be very coachable at this point. We all know they have some good coaches teaching/working with them and if they continue to work they will be as good as it comes in HS.

Just wondering if anyone has checked out Soddiy Daisy yet???

This game really scared me going into last night. Whitley has a great team. Bell just took it to them early. Offense was better than I seen this year. When was the last time Bell has thrown the ball on there own 1 foot line. It was almost a 99 yard TD. Defense had them covered and took the option away. D-line really step up and played well. Defense as a whole played the best they had all year. #5 makes a difference. QB and FB from Whitley can play and great looking athletes. Bell getting better......exciting!!!!
WYMT..... who was #1 in the mountains at the beginning of the year???

LMAO!!! They had 1-3 Breathitt Co #1. When will they learn it takes a TEAM EFFORT to win ball games not just a 1 man show!!! :lmao:

This team has a lot of talent and IMO is a better team than last years. If you'll remember, even in the state game in 08 it was alot the soph. and Jr. class making the big plays and really winning that game. Not to take anything away from the 13 seniors that graduated but as the season goes on and I think you'll see this team keep improving every week and make their mark as one of the best teams ever on log mt.

The Davenport kid is a heck of a running back but he's got a heck of a line blocking for him!! Bell's line is doing a GREAT job getting the hole open for the RB's. IMO Bell's O-line is #1

When a freshman runs a 45-50 td, that said alot to me about Bells line. I don't think he was touched . And it was up the middle. From the look of this game I will be getting on bell's bandwagon.

Congrats Bell County you guys are the top team in the mountains hands down. I wish you the best in the upcoming season. Once again I noticed BellCoBobcats09 putting down the Breathitt Bobcats on a thread which has nothing to do with Breathitt County. This poor guy just loves to hate the bobcats from Breathitt.

Agreed but Bell's freshman RB's are pretty good. Polly and Collett could start for most of the teams in EKY!!!! They are very talented. Both are playing very key roles in special teams and I would think they will get a few more carries as the season goes on.

Looks like Bell is getting ready for another potential title run.

Congrats to the Bobcats. You know it took me 4 yrs. to get the respect for Coach Hilton, and his team. After losing this game, a game that my son spent about 2 wks. preparing for, He was hurting. During the handshake at the conclusion, He told me that Coach Hilton pulled him aside and told him to hold his chin up, He told him the Bobcats came at them hard. He told him that he was a tough player and that he was on good team that they were going to be alright. He doesn't know how much this helped my son to get his mind put back in the place it needs to be, to be able to get back in focus on the job that he has to do. Thank You Coach !! Good Luck the rest of the season!

Thanks for sharing that WC. I think Coach Hitlon gets a bad rep from a lot of people b/c of his sucess. He really is a coach that cares about football players not just his own.
For what it is worth Hilton and his staff had said nothing but good things about the Whitley program.

Some people like you need to learn to read a little before you post. A above poster asked who was #1 preseason in the Mountain Top 10 and well I answered him. Then you come on this thread and say the above.
