Hazard beat themselves missed lay ups and free throws that normally dont happen but i agree this will be their wake up call and they'll be a tough team to beat in region but with that said congrats to PCC they did'nt miss clutch free throws and hats off to Tyler Mullins on the dunk. GOOD LUCK TO ALL TEAMS IN THE TOURNAMENT SEE YOU AT REGION!!!

I was very impressed with how PCC kept it together last night. They kept their compusure. Great dunk by Mullins. But the one who continually impresses me is Maggard. He came through in the 3rd and scored most of this points in the second half. The defense by PCC was much better last night also. BTW, I did enjoy the ghostbusters last night.

The game was back and forth.
Chris Nobles defense on Whitaker was nothing short of spectacular.
Klay was huge!

Sounds like a great game. I don't know if I would consider this a mild upset after how Perry Central played against Valley.

This just shows the 14th Region will go through the 54th. If Knott wants to go out of here, they will have to beat both of these teams. Would be better to draw Hazard first and play them on wednesday and rest up for the finals on tuesday. Would be tough to have to play them back to back like in the Wymt tourney. Good luck to all 3 in the region.

This year they are just as good, but needed some confidence to get over the mental hump
The SV game really did it for them I think
They played good defense, executed their offense, and made Hazard play PCC's style(no one holds HHS to 13 points in the first half)

Congrats on the championship PCC!! So let me ask, would you rather be District champs or Regional champs? Don't take this the wrong way, just a simple question?? Even if Hazard had won I wouldn't be so excited, there are much bigger games to be played. The dunk was nice, but when you have played against great competition, a dunk is only a dunk and still counts for two points!! With that said, I am for Hazard, but if they don't win region, I hope PCC can do it instead. I will pull for the teams from the 54th always!! Good luck to all!!! Also, what was the ghostbuster thing about? Did it have some kind of meaning? Thanks!

Region no doubt about it...I say PCC is not sastified with just winning the District, nobody can be sastified with just winning District bc the main goal is to win the Region...

I just remember when we won the District one year and had to play a loser that was the favorite from another District!! If I could go back, I wished we would have lost the District!! Sounds stupid, but we got beat in the first round by the team that should have won their District!! Weird how things can work out sometimes!!

MG#5, it had no special meaning. This is a group of HHS Seniors who show their support for their team in a creative way at every game. So far this season they have been couch potatoes, Flavor Flav, the Secret Service guarding the President, Miners supporting coal in Richmond at the All A, boxers and Ghostbusters.
