hopefully inexperience wont get in the way and they can take care of business

A little of both. Caleb Frazier will provide a power running game inside the ten or when they need a short gain. Greg Collins will get a lot of carries this year as well, he is one of the fastest players on the team. And of course Banks will run the ball a lot as well after a huge season on the ground last year.

They do. I would imagine that it will be a really good matchup. Hopefully they can play every year and make a rivalry out of this game. I kind of get the feeling that's what will happen.

district champs?
besides banks any college prospects on letchers centrals team

I am hoping that they do make a rivalry out of Harlan County Central and Letcher Central teams. As of right now they don't really have a rivalry or anything even close because of teams not bordering the county that is in the district. Will Harlan County Central eventually be in the same district with LCC?

I believe they will be fine, have one of the best freshman units ever coming in. Even have a few that may help on the line

Perry County Central and Clay County are both big rivals of LCC right now.

the freshman coming to lcc may help one day but not a big difference this year

i believe its really up to the upperclassmen to step up with a strong leadership role and take this team back to another district championship

It is going pretty well so far, they have a long way to go though and need to improve on a lot.

Not really any big problems, just trying to work a lot of new people into the offense and stuff like that.

The Offensive Line looked pretty good last week considering it was the first week of Spring Practice. They will have to continue to work extremely hard to get ready for the season though.

I think LCC has a good chance of repeating, they have alot of talent returning along with some underclassmen who will be able to step up.
03-24-2008, 11:11 AM
I believe LCC will have a very strong year (again)..last year they came out of nowhere basically and slammed 11 wins on everybody. I think 9-1 is within reach, but Im gonna go conservative and say that 8-2 or 7-3 will be my prediction. All in all, LCC is definitely a football team, with a ton of upcoming talent, that will have another very solid season. Coach Howard used a very successful feeder system at Pikeville to reload his roster every year, and is doing so now at LCC..a good feeder system will equal year in year out success..
