Yeah Im proud of Belfry and Coach Casey. Dustin was a wrrior and Hairston got past his guy all night, if he ever learns to score you better watch out.
Belfry really got tired late in the game and Paintsville took advantage of it, but this was a battle. Congrats Belfry and Coach Casey on a great season and goodluck to Paintsville.

Great Win Tigers! Belfry definetly gets a smiley face for play in the paint. The big fellow worked hard all night in there. I beleive Justin Murray got the fires burning with Paintsville, he played very "blue collar", Bundy was very forgiving setting up some great passes.

Classless is when an asst. coaches wife and parent of a player gets in the face of an opposing asst. coach and sticks her finger in his face and laughs after a game. That, my friend, is classless. Smile

Hounding the WSIP bunch? FYI, I truly like Spike and Danny a lot! What have I ever "hounded' them about? I think they do an ecellent job covering sports, and they don't just cover JC boys! I appreciate that.
However, it is no secret that I don't like BJ at all. But I wasn't hounding him, I just thought the comment was funny. If what I said upsets you, then you have issues with me personnaly! And that is fine, cause I really don't try to appease everyone on here.

I never seen an asst. coach's wife do any such thing!! Sounds like someone is trying to start a rumor.....

Classless acts go on at every school....its just part of it!! FOr as long as I have been around here its went on.....especially in Johnson County with the Paintsvile /JC rivalry..

In my opnion PARENTS need to stay out of it..and let the kids play!!:broom: :broom:

Congrats to the Tigers!! Great to see the "Expo Jinx" broken!!!!!

The Tigers started very tight? Puzzling! But all that matters is that they got it together and loosened up in the 3rd and put it away! And even though Valley didn't exactly look great in the 1st half, it will take 4 quarters against Valley for the Tigers to win! Get-r-done Tigers!!

As for the signs, everyone knows that JC went up there after all of the Tigers left town and took them!!! Who else would be in Johnson County at that time! lol

I said something to my wife when I saw it, I was wondering why he wasn't letting the younger kids get some regional time in. He had his reasons though, I guess.

I'm with Guru, I can't believe some of our own county would do it. It had to be Valley fans. Wink

On a side not: I noticed at the Cheer compettion in Pikeville last weekend, Paintsville cheered for JC everytime they got up. JC people that I noticed didn't return the applause. Sad

Congrats Tigers. I was proud of the way they stepped it up on both ends in the second half. I don't think they played very good over all, but they did what they had to to get the W. Hopefully we got that outta our system before Monday.

I think when Paintsville went to their 2-3 zone it really frustrated Belfry and completely changed the game.

That and Shane picking it up! He had 0 points in the first half. But he picked up his game in the second half and made a HUGE difference! But overall it was an off night for the Tigers!

I did notice that too. Paintsville has a real classy program, and for the most part JC does too. There are just a select few that ruin it for everyone, and Johnson County should support Johnson County no matter what. Unless of course they are playing each other.

Actually Belfry took May out BEFORE Paintsville started subbing....they then put in the other two seniors who don't play very much...taking out two more starters...anyway...what does that have to do with anything???? Other than to show once again that a few Paintsville fans with ZERO class give the rest of the Paintsville fans a bad name...this game was a battle...the score is in NO WAY indicative of what kind of game it was....Transplant...get a life...you guys won....have some class and win with dignity...

I think that LS has shown great improvement over the years. He has not just stayed the same player as when he was a freshman

Congrats Tigers!!!! The only team Belfry has beat by 30 pts is Piarist and that was double or triple teaming Hoskins kid. Guess what goes around comes around. Tigers good shooting,smart team with great coach.
