If...Then Wrote:seriously, belfry got NO where last year

Belfry was a strong team last year, but losing Case to graduation will be a huge blow. The Pirates will have to replace his production if they hope to contend for region again this year.

I think that the 15th is loaded with some good underclassmen, but Tommy Joe Hall from South Floyd seems to stick out. He's already over the thing about pressure. He took over the starting quaterback and 6th man position as a freshmen.

That is true, but he is not alone when comparing players to those three. They are pretty good!!

I think to be considered a top sophomore player, they should at least have had one game in high school to prove you should be there. Playing in someones driveway, or at the YMCA is totally different than playing on a court with a school jersey on your body. Not many players can get away with playing in front of a coach that can sit them down the way games are played anywhere else but on a real court. I havent watched enough practices this year to make a judgment on how good he can or cant play, but at least let him play before he is mentioned as a top player for his class.

I am sure he does also, but Elisha has proven himself on a varsity court where Zack hasnt. That is the whole point I am trying to make, let them prove them selfs before they become the best in a class. Once he proves himself in a varsity game, then yes, put his name out.

Elisha proved himself in the 8th grade when he started PG for the varsity team.

harmon and honaker, somebody above said they weren't playing, and they are obviously two of the top athletes in the school.

Tim and Tyler are going to play. Ted Honaker and Daniel are not going go. But neither are sophomores.

I think the AC Rebels have a good young group of kids, Chris Stumbo, the Crowder twins, Justin Jackson, I don't know how much each of them will help, but they are a very talented bunch of young kids that could make a big difference in a game.

yeah i know that but if you read the entire thread you will see how they were brought into the discussion.

Prestonsburg has a dandy player in Micheal Burchett. But the top sophmore in the 15th to me is Elisha Justice.

Tyler Hall from pburg could be a top sophomore. He is a year younger than most in his grade.
