I have seen Paintsville play about 20 times this year, they didnt have a bad game, they just got out played by Belfry PERIOD>>>> Also if case isnt hands down the best player in 15th who is??? You have lost your mind buddy. You say he is not even the best player on his team because the best defensive player in the region shut him down. Had Case been gaurdin VanHoose he wouldn't have even scored at all. I credit Case's hard nosed, lockdown defense for shutting Slone down, Slone rarely got a good look at the basket. That doesn't mean he is overrated. Hell the kid put up 20+ against Bryan Station, Henry Clay and South Laurel and you say he is overrated .

It should be you're for you are....and I think the ky he was referring to was some form of lubrication used for extra curricular activity. I don't think Grizz is a homer though, he's posted a lot of stuff about other teams than Paintsville and doesn't even live in EKY.

1. Jamie Case is well deserving of the player of the year.
2. Paintsville is OVERRATED
3. Landon Slone is way OVERRATED
4. J.D. Vanhoose is the best player on Paintsville's team
5. Paintsville has no heart, passion, or respect for the game or the teams they play against.
6.After watching the game last night between SV and BL, Belfry should win the region, I just dont see anyone else conending with them if they play the way they did against Paintsville

One other thing I want to add, if BMR wants to win at all anymore, he needs to make his players check their egos and heads at the door and make them realize they have to play as a team with more heart, and start respecting the teams they play. I'm positive towards everyone else but them, probably one of their biggest critics. I said they didn't deserve to be in the Mountain Top 10, I said they are probably the most over-hyped group to walk the halls of Paintsville. If that is called a homer then I guess that I am. Actually I was just trying to give someone on that team a little credit. They have been overrated all year and didnt deserve to be in the mountain top ten as long as they were. Belfry is a good team and I based them winning the region on the way Valley played and almost lost to BL last night. Although after listening to the AC/Phelps game on the radio, I may have to change my mind. Allen Central seems to be a pretty good team and has played pretty good all season. I agree with about everything you said other than the JD being the best player on their team Sports. He had a great game the other night, don't get me wrong, but was very inconsistent. One game he'd light it up and the next he couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat in the middle of the ocean. I watched Paintsville about 4 times this season not including the other night, but night in and night out Slone was Paintsville's best with Van being close behind. Slone had a terrible game, but buzz around the Expo was that he has been battling the flu....IDK if it's true, but that was the one bad game I watched Landon play this past season.

I am a huge critic of paintsville, have been for a long time, I hate to see them win anything, but love to watch them lose.

I think Paintsville is responsible for putting EKY basketball back on the map after it had been missing for 40+ years. The very well should've won 3 state titles in the late 90's but they were extremely blessed with the size and talent they had on the floor. I think that it's bad you love watching anyone lose, but hey that's the way I feel about the Denver Broncos....lol.

And exactly who would those teams be? Looking at their schedule, I see very few teams on there who would even be considered above average. Valley isn't great by any means, but they are better than anyone on Belfry's schedule.

1. Case definitely deserves POY. With him, they can beat anyone around here and without him they couldn't beat anyone. He's awesome plus he makes everyone one else better.
2. I wouldn't call Paintsville overrated. Just underhearted.
3. Landon's not overrated just had a bad game. Everyone is due one. His just came at the worst time.
4. Landon is the best P-Ville had but Ferguson has as much talent but no one got to see it that much because IMO he didn't get to play his game very often.
5. You hit that one right on the money. Probably had more talent than Belfry but without heart you don't win this time of year.

By the way, you forgot to mention the Globetrotters in your statement above.

You seem to be quite confident yourself. Anyone who knows anything about basketball can see that this game can be won by either of these teams. They are pretty evenly matched so the team that shows up to play the entire 32 minutes will win.

I love how people like you get on here and downgrade other teams. I see just as much support for Belfry from their fans on here as I do for Valley and numerous other teams. I don't, however, see those people bashing Belfry for being cocky about their team.
