The only thing they are the front runner for now is an emmy for best 15th region soap opera.

GREAT JOB BOYS

Congrats to the Hornets, big district win. Sounds like JC just needs to go ahead and let Starns go and continue the season with a intern coach. This might at least bring back so enthusiasm to the team for a tourny run or a good start for next year.
#35
congrats to the hornets keep up the good work

whats so funny?? the fact that JC won the region last year, and added the best PG in the region makes it a joke that i thought they would do it again at the beginning of the season??? Did you forget to read the rest of the post?? what is your problem??

Congrats MC. Looks like JC might have given up.

JC having more talent? How can you get that? McCarty is really dissapointing me after such a great start he had this season. Besides him there isn't really anyone on that team that has more talent than players on Magoffin. Devin Rice is a excellent player, and IMO he is the best post player in the region. Eric Arnett is a great shooter and a great scorer. And Clay Fletcher is a great role player, he gets his 10-15 pts almost every night and is one of the best passers on the team.

Good Win Magoffin....Nice agressiveness Eric

McCarty? Points?

I’m sure this game was a delight to all Magoffin fans, and hats off to them, they are playing at their best, and JC are playing at their worst. This is and has been a tough season for JC. I cant even imagine what the players are thinking, especially Crum considering he switched to the team of the defending 15th region champs for a reason. To win, and its been anything but. Back on topic, before the game i figured there was going to be a knock out drag out considering the quick tempered attitudes of the Hornets, E. Arnett and the rest of the bunch. But same for Central. Murray, and now Meek, are short tempered as well and sure don’t care to get rowdy. You really should have saw the fiasco at the JC and Pikeville game, I witnessed it, an injured twin of a Pikeville player got thrown out.

I think it's funny. JC lost 4 starters and 2-3 bench players from last years team and you thought they would be the front runner to win the region just because they added one of the best PG's in the region. That's pretty darn funny to me.

the reason everyone thought they would be a front runner is because all the hype they got. Yes the won a region championship and then everyone thinks that McCarty is great. He is a good player but is not a leader and doesn't understand how to lead his team. Crum is an excellent ball player and seeing him come to Johnson Central was a big plus, but it just don't look good for the eagles. Hopefully they will make it out of the district.

It will be a very tough road for JC to get out of the District. As it stands today. They need to win at Paintsville and hope for a Magoffin loss at Sheldon Clark. If this happens, then I think there would be a coin toss for the for the 3 seed. Otherwise, JC would need to win 2 games in the District to make it to the region.

No coin toss if that scenario develops..Magoffin swept Jc so they would get the three seed.

So does Lawrence County has the 2 seed locked up?
#51
1 Paintsville
2 Larwence Co.
3 Magoffin Co.
4 Johnson Central
5 Sheldon Clark

Copy this, because that is how it is going to be.

are you just making a prediction or is this how its gonna be for a factt?

dosent jc play sc for the 4th seed?

All_Sport#1 Wrote:dosent jc play sc for the 4th seed?

As of rite now yes, JC still has Paintsville, and SC has Magoffin. That will determine everything.
#58
ok
#59
4 and 5 could switch, but 1,2 and 3 are set.

Yes 4 and 5 could switch but what would that matter? They would still have to play each other to get a shot at paintsville to even consider regions.
