No need to make excuses for Bell getting beat by JBS, because they did. I am a JBS fan for sure, but I do feel SL has more key players and better role players. JBS does have some D1 potential players. Collins could play D1 if he worked at it, and Stepp may do so, and I'm almost positives Cox will play D1 basketball somewhere. JBS is still somewhat young, don't expect SL to be the powerhouse of Eastern Ky after this year. Next year, JBS will be even more dominant.

ok, they are EASILY better than JBS,they just beat Madison Central by 5, and Hazard beat Madison, and you seen how JBS played Hazard, they led by as much as 18 points, Laurel is good, Proffit, Hammonds and Smith are 3 very good players, but they are not easily better than JBS

South has how many players with Rupp experience? Yeah a lot more than JBS. South is the better team and until they are beat that is where they will stay. JBS is a very good team but as long as it is the Stepp, Stepp & Cox show they will not win State in All A or the Big Dance. You have to have a inside game to play with the Big Boys at state. Just ask the only team besides South that has come from the mountains lately and won State, Paintsville. Anyone remember JR Vanhoose. JBS doesn't even look to go inside.

Perry just beat Hazard, and JBS already beat Hazard, and last year Hazard beat JBS in the regular season, and went on to win region, and bet JBS in the semi finals, Hazard is not better than SL or JBS

yeah South Laurel is probably the best team in the mountains. I haven't seen them play, but JBS is pretty good too. I think you people need to consider SV in the mix as well They have only lost one game. I've both SV and JBS play, and I think that SV could beat them.
