Thats a pitiful statement. I love Jones and Howard as much as the next person and I followed their careers but 2 people dont win a game against 11. The whole TEAM played a huge part in every win.

First off I'd like to say congratulations to Russell on the win.You guys played a great game.I'd also like to congratulate our Pirates on a great season.I dont feel we played our best game tonight and I hate that but thats what makes Friday nights so much fun.It's who shows up to play and who doesn't and tonight we didn't.I'd also like to say what a pleasure it was to meet some of the guys on here from BGR.We enjoyed the fellowship and hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.I think our defense played a really good game as did Russells.But you need a little offense to go with that.But anyway congrats to both teams and Russell ...Go beat Mercer and bring home the gold.We'll be rootin for ya'll. First off I would like to say that before the game I said that this game was like having twin boys playing but only one could play inthe BigOne,,,, well we played hard and played our assignments,,, and pulled off the win... I would expect to see alot of POND CREEK DEVILS in RED with GOLD letters next week.. I saw one of my best frinds from here with a Belfry shirt on with devils shirt over it..... He was ready for anything I guess.....
I got the chance to meet some really cool and very nice people.... Classy, friendly and honest to the heart.. I got to meet MAY's Dad before the game and he looks like he could be his boys twin brother and could probably still hammer some yards himself.. Great Tailgate,, great friends and a great time,, Devils win this week but the continued test is next week on the BIG CARPET...
OH CAM STADIUM is freakin awesome...........Hopefully we can get something like that up here..... absolutely beautiful.............

What a game this must have been, I wish I would have gone to see it. After watching both teams play earlier this year, I wouldn't have expected anyone to be shut out. Congrats to Belfry for having another outstanding season, and congrats to Russell on the victory.

Go Devils!! Beat Mercer County and bring another one back for the East!!!!!! :flame:

I have to agree with Develologist. That has to be the most beautiful high school field I have ever seen. You guys were great in everything you did tonight at the tailgate party. The belfry pirates have nothing to be ashamed of tonight...You all really love your Pirates and it was obvious. We all have to remember what lifes joy really is. To me its seening all the kids doing what we did when we were that age. Watching them doing things that we have already done. This is one we won't forget....And next year Im sure the pirates won't forget either...They'll want it back!!! It will be a Great game as always.. Again thank you for such a wonderful tailgate party and nice to have met all of you!!! Good luck next year hope to see you all again.....

IMO, Russell cant handle MERCER, Super tough team, For MIDEE's sake, Belfry couldnt beat them either!!!! Happy> Midee- lol. Mercer is extremeley tuff!! But Good luck Devils!!!

I remember you was the one who said Belfry was gonna run it right up the middle all night on Russell also that didn't happen.

Congrats to the Red Devils, sounded like they came to play. Belfry, as in many cases sounded like they were playing to not lose, not playing to win. Congrats Pirates on a good season and good luck Russell next Friday. Alot of work to be done this week.

Wow what a high intensity game. The fans were WILD for Russell, I was so proud of them, I heard there were 5000 ppl in the 3500 capaticy stadium. Russell's stands were PACKED!!! and keep the cheering up the whole game, were gonna need that in Lousiville. So Russell fans keep it up!!!
As for the game, both defences did a hell of a job against the run. But after you take away our run, our pass opens up. Arron Beekman had a heck of a rushing game. And Marcus Frazier had some NICE catches. Our line help up great. Congrats to the Devils for thier preformance. Papa Johns HERE WE COME!!!

Russell fans are always loud, the team is very blessed to have a great crowed like you Russell fans are. Not for sure how many people was there but it was a packed house.

Word is tellin me that on the radio they said over 5000, but u cant always go by what the radio says. Either way it was PACKED!!

You have to keep it real with the ADULT cheerleaders. It is pretty cool when you start a cheer and the cheerleaders continue it.. Well you cant help but follow when everyone inthe stands are yelling the same thing.. THOSE horns are freakin awesome.. Thanks John Norman from Normans Locker Room for the noisemakers........

Yeah the better team was the winner in this game. No disrepect to Russell but I was wishing that the better team would have been Belfry in this one. Regardless, congrats to Russell on making another trip to Papa Johns! And to Belfry, yet another great season and nothing to be ashamed of.
