Throw in LC would have had all 5 starters returning too, definitely a head scratcher.

Has to be disappointing for Lawrence County. You win the regional tournament and return basically everybody the following season until the transfer portal hits. Boyd County is loading up.
He averaged 18 ppg last year and 4 rebounds so this definitely changes the outlook on the 15th region this year.

My guess is like in most cases there is some addition by subtraction here. anyone who leaves after winning a region crown was obviously not a team player to begin with. Lawrence will be just fine

It appears Lawrence has acquired a couple of transfers from Tolsia School. Could it be that Lawrence encouraged the player to leave? There are concerns from KYJELLY and PUSSNBOOTS regarding Anderson and relationship with another coach. What is the current state of the relationship between Ryan Bonner and Coach Anderson, considering Ashland has been involved recruiting and successfully recruiting several Boyd County players? Perhaps attention should be directed toward what may be the most questionable program in Eastern Kentucky. How has coaching staff targeted Russell players? According to audio and video evidence involving Neel and Brady Bell recruited. This situation seems rather contentious.

Has anyone seen the new dream team from THE COUNTY (aka BOYD) out in the wild at any summer events? Asking for a friend... who’s still trying to recover from the last time they took over the dance floor.

Mays was interested and Jerry was shopping his kid around. I don’t know how Boyd avoided the violation as well. He probably threatened another lawsuit. That seems to be his method of operation.
The current staff at Ashland has no interest in any of the players currently at Boyd. There are no players on the team that can play in a winning culture. They have been ruined by “You know who.” After this season, when the problems are gone, Boyd may be able to reset and start a respectable program again. Until then, they will play victim and it will always be someone else’s fault.

Please pardon me, but it seems you have mistaken me for someone you hold in high regard. Mr. Spurlock appears to dominate your thoughts regarding happenings at Boyd County. If I were in your position and harbored such discord or disdain for the individual you seem to fixate on, I would approach him directly and relay my sentiments rather than hiding behind this platform. Your actions give the impression of cowardice. Regarding your effort to "dumb it down" for or following this discussion, I believe you have indeed succeeded presenting yourself as unintelligent. In that regard, you never fail to meet expectations.

It is prudent to advise against claiming that Coach Thompson is relieved about the kid transferring unless you directly heard it from him! Are you saying Coach Thompson said this? If, I believe it is reckless to speak about a player in such a manner unless the information comes from the source and not merely from a reliable third party. Such remarks seem more like an insult to the player, and I find it unlikely that he would make such comments about someone who contributed to reaching the Sweet 16.I apologize if that came across as insulting However, it appears you are attentive to your own feelings but not considerate of others when disseminating gossip about the player.
