I’ve mentioned this one before, but the hauntingly beautiful voice of the great Alison Kraus makes this song, based on a real event, just the saddest of the sad for me.

Alison is amazing. Love her. Back in the early and mid 90's , I dated a girl that looked like her. That was my peak. lol
