What's the spread here in this game? I've heard Hazard is good but Breathitt has Sperry.  Know nothing about either team.

Pretty sure Clay was up 11(44-33) in the 3rd after missing a ton of 3s in the first half. Clay’s point guard is still a liability due to his inability to hit the perimeter shot and free throws. However, if the opponent plays man against Clay I’d definitely try to run the double stack offense with Roark at the point. He’s a very good penetrator and he would have a much better chance at scoring from 15 feet in. Need to run Grubb baseline and get Jackson more opportunities to score as well.

When did Beverely and Eversole leave Perry for Hazard?

Beverly left Perry early/mid last season. Not sure about Eversole.

This the first game I've watched of Hazard in 3 years probably and was surprised to see them.

Eversole been at hazard the last 3 seasons. I think he played at Knott his 8th grade year then Perry freshman and hazard sophomore till now.

The best decision he ever made was getting away from the Perry political scene and going somewhere he could just play the game and enjoy himself.

Harlan is majorly overhyped, my team still lost to them…what’s that say about Clay? A lot of soul searching needs done for this Clay team. Terrible ball handling, horrific FT shooting and way too many jumpers taken. Clay’s strength is driving the basketball and we settled for 3’s all night. Jones has to do better with the amount of talent on this roster. Or am I foolish for thinking this roster holds a lot of talent?

Yeah, maybe a little foolish. They have a couple of nice players.

Along with Johnson and Combs as well. All came from Perry. All really good players and Hazard has benefitted from Perry's loss.

Yeah should go to show everyone that things at Perry aren’t the greatest situations to be in. U lose Eversole, Beverly, combs, Johnson to your crosstown rival then they turn and beat a good Harlan county team who throttled Perry by 40 in an earlier game. Someone’s head would be on the chopping block in a different scenario. I mean the best I can figure they got rid of the girls coach for having a winning season last year.
