Kade Elam
#1
I'm not very knowledgeable about Corbin through the years.  Where does Elam rank among Corbin's all time QB's.

Has to be the best IMO.. Being good this year, on a team that I consider down for Corbin.. he was the only reason they had a chance late in the year.
#3
hes got to go down as one of the greats. His ability to hit the reciever right in the chest and his reading of the field is incredible.

I feel like he has to be at the top. I love how he was not only a stud QB but just an absolute program kid. he could often be found mentoring younger QB's at the middle school etc. and just a very humble kind demeanor off the field. this was a graphic I seen yesterday that a local professional photographer had made. I know he will be greatly missed going forward.

I myself am a Kade "Kid" Elam fan. I knew when he got put in his freshman year he was going to be special. I put this nickname myself just on BGR because to me, he was the one you better look out for. I think I saw a picture to where he had like over 8000 career yards and is the all time passing leader. Corbin has had some great ones over the years. He in my book is a Kentucky High School Mr. Football candidate and one of the best I have ever witnessed on the field. Not many times will you witness talent down here in our area like Elam. I see people and get asked all the time about what I think, I always say this, Senior Year and Kade Elam, Corbin will be fine. I have heard nothing but positive comments about his demeanor off the field. Everyone I talk too brags on this young man. He is an incredible athlete in other sports and has signed to play baseball for Louisville. If I had a Madden game and could choose my team and Elam was a choice for QB, I would pick Kade as my QB 100% every time.

Incredible athlete and young man, Kade Elam will be greatly missed, wish him nothing but absolute success….Dont be surprised to see this young man on TV he’s as good or possibly even better baseball player

Great player, even better kid. Hate to see his career come to an end. Wishing him nothing but the best.

Shifty and tough athlete. Good luck to him at UofL.

One of the best I've ever seen, not just at qb but one of the best all around athletes.  A definite Corbin hall of famer and should be in the KY athletic hall of fame.

Best wishes to this young man.  I'll definitely be pulling for him on the baseball field at UofL.

This kid has potential to be a star at the next level. Seems as if he’ll be playing baseball at U of L. Would love to see him Quarterback at the next level though.

That’d be awesome. Haven’t watched him on the diamond, but heard he’s just as good/ maybe better than he is on the gridiron.

Whatever you are thinking about Kade Elam as a football player, magnify it by a factor of 100 and that's what you should be thinking of him as a human being. The kid is going to make a positive impact on the world.

I don't see why U of L doesn't give him an offer to toss the pigskin around on the gridiron as well.

What happened to the QB from the 2018 runnerup team?
#16
If he’s better at baseball than football then he’ll get drafted. He’s the best QB in the state most likely

Impressed the heck out of me

Played baseball at UK. Was drafted in 2022 by the NY Mets. Has bounced around with their minor league system in Port St. Lucie, Fla, and Brooklyn.

I've enjoyed watching him play the last few years. I agree that he's a great player. I was mainly wondering where he ranks among all of Corbin's past QB's.

Khali, I think the Mets released him and I believe he plays for an independent team called the Milwaukee Milkmen. Pretty sure he is on their active roster.

He’ll without a doubt go down as one of the Corbin greats. His field recognition is off the charts and his ability to make big plays happen definitely put him at the top. Not to mention he’s shattered most qb records at Corbin.

I think him and Chase Estep are for sure the most talented two to come through. Would probably have to give the nod to Elam because he played 3 years there.

And, ironically,  Kade and Chase's best sport isn't football.

I always thought if Estep had played QB for 3 years, Corbin would have a big gold trophy in their case!

I'm not sure. That 2016 Belfry team and 2017 Boyle team were loaded. 2018 was probably the best chance to get it done.
