Hahahaha!! Love it! Yep, counties within a 150-mile radius better put their best players in hiding.

Next up for Boyle County is the transfer protocol. Graduation losses will not hurt BC. Transfers will fill in gaps in their roster.

Most WV fans think Neal is being let go so I don't think that's even close to being true.  If fact, I don't think he's going anywhere.

Agreed,  Counting the 2019 season Boyle has been to what five straight championship games? And won four straight.  Boyle will be just fine moving forward.  If any team can roll out four more championships,  it's Boyle.  You guys will be right back in the mix of favorites to win it all next season.

Well, there isn't much talent left at Danville, but there is plenty of other nearby talent. I'm not aware of BC landing any transfers from Paintsville in the past. If Haddix leaves, then maybe they can get a package deal like Corbin did. A new coach with players to be named later.

I think Boyle County needs to have just one defensive coordinator, I think the kids were out of position a lot, the LBs didn't play well and they exposed Boyle's weakest DB and targeted him all night. Yes Boyle will be fine but they don't have a Qusinberry or Brown walking the hallways. Against Covington Catholic Boyle had 0 adjustments to stop the QB, Coach Burns was missed bad this year defensively, Burns always made adjustments. People will get mad when say this, But Boyle hasn't won a championship without a Chuck Smith assistant on the sidelines. Haddix first Championship he had Hester, the last 3 he had Burns. IJs. Defensive mindset matters. And one last thing I think Covington Catholic brings QB Harney back again next year and Highlands joins 4A next year. The road to Kroger is going to be tough the next couple of years.

Your line about no Chuck Smith assistants is the dumbest thing and show you clearly know nothing about the sideline staff for BC.
Travis Leffew played for and coach under Chuck Smith. Also Current Assistant.
Matt Bottom was a sideline assistant helping with the sideline replay under Chuck Smith and played for Chuck. Also current assistant and JV head coach.
Ian Young also replay help under Chuck and played for Chuck is current press box assistant for Fridays. Please know what you are talking about before speaking it would be nice to be educated on the subject!

I forgot about Leffew, it dont matter this team under achieved and got to go basketball practice early. Eddie Evinston out coached Boyle's staff. QB power the whole game and couldn't stop it. CC QB ran for over 250.

I think some of the posters are saying Boyle can't win like they have been unless the talent from other schools does it for them. I could be misunderstanding. But i think they did have some 5th year kids from other districts as well as regular stars from other local schools make contributions over the last few years.  But then again Covington Catholic also recruits. So it was like two private schools playing anyway. But again i could be misunderstanding some of the comments. And I would assume with Corbin still playing while Haddix is at home this weekend makes it all a little more confusing.

Boyle will be fine. Plenty of programs would want Haddix as their coach. Im hearing tons of coaches are retiring after the season already and no doubt lots of openings will be popping up. Now as time goes the coaches with titles are not many. Most are already where they will stay. So I can see Haddix winning more titles in the next few years at Boyle myself, one reason I say that is this. I was at the last Boyle game when Chuck Smith lost to Johnson Central. After the game, he retired not long after. Boyle graduated a ton of talent that year. Johnson Central and Frankin County and Corbin was bringng back a ton of talent and I don't remember anyone saying Boyle especially after losing a majority of that team had a honest chance in winning the next season. But Haddix got hired and out of nowhere Boyle did what Boyle does. Win. With a whole new group that some thought wouldn't happen. Fast forward to today 5 years later and he gets upset 1 game in 5 years to knock them out of a Championship. Well, you don't fire a championship coach because they get upset. You support them. Now I dont recall a Brown or a Q on the first 2 title teams and before anyone acts like Gillis was an automatic championship piece, do you not think for a minute that the Head coach had anything to do with play calling and putting that QB at Linebacker to make 2 of the most dominate Boyle teams we have witnessed take the field against Johnson Central and Franklin County? They were flat out tuff from my seat. Then I also remember when Sage Dawson and Q came into the picture, Its not like they automatically win because of who they are, they became who they are because they won. So no doubt Haddix and the staff hard work paid off. So when you see what they can do no doubt when they have 1 year left, you expect what they have already done before. So for next year, I done know what they got coming up. Very nice looking talent and huge. So when you have the next man up mentality, they will be players we have not mentioned who rise up and become the next big names. Boyle is got it going on. They will be fine. Haddix is young enough that if he stays there 10 years, Id say he will win 1/3 of his years remaining with a title and will ultimately be the winningest coach in Boyle history if you ask me.

You try to speak like you have facts but when those facts turn out to be false you change your facts to something new. First it was because there were not Chuck Smith assistants but when you find out there are actually 4 then you focus on the team underperforming. Quit being a keyboard warrior find true facts and stay in a lane.

"Where does Boyle go from here", has to be one of the most ridiculous threads ever! Boyle has won four straight championships and was nationally ranked this year before being upset by Covington Catholic. Over this period they have produced numerous kids who have played at the next level, while having a coach who spends the majority of his time promoting his players. Upsets happen, it's part of the game and for anyone to question Haddix or this program is ignorance at it's best. Some fans are unrealistic to think you can win a title every year, that just doesn't happen at any level. This loss will do nothing but motivate Haddix, the coaching staff, and the players. If I were a betting man, I would bet on Boyle winning their 5th championship in six years next season.

This might be the dumbest threads in the history of threads. Boyle is the preeminent program in KY HS football. They have a fluke loss, coming up one yard short on a controversial call and someone wants to know where the hell Boyle goes from here, like they're gonna be wandering in a barren wasteland for the next 42 years. They will keep doing what they've done for decades--- winning football games and being one of a select few teams that contend for a state championship year after year.
