Well you will still have a top 10 team in Kentucky next season. You have a good JV team and one of the best frosh teams. I don’t think there’s any reason to hit a panic button after what happened last night you lost a football game to a team who had a good game plan. Boyle will be right in the mix for the foreseeable future regardless of what happened last night.

Boyle will been in the mix as usual next season. 2019 team had like 25 Sr's that lost to Johnson Central. Head coach retired and everyone thought that's it. Boyle just ran off 4 straight . They will work hard this off season and fight to get back to Kroger field next season.

What in the hell do you mean where does Boyle go from here? Boyle goes where they always go--- in search of more championships. They were the state's best team all season. Tough nights have happened to every team at one point or another. I've gotten used to 42 years of tough nights, so I know. Boyle will be just fine. Back in the hunt again next season...

Been watching Boyle Football for years now, before Chuck Smith. I played for a week my Senior year, before all the titles, back when they were a joke. I didn’t know anything about football. I ran track, was skinny and fast. One practice, he lined me up at OLB and told me to blitz the QB. I never played football before, so I didn’t know about green jerseys. Neal Brown had one on, along with the QB. I hit the QB weak side, no block, just nailed him under his shoulder. The OC chewed me out, called me every name in the book for hitting his QB in practice. I hung my head and went back to the huddle. I told Coach Smith I was sorry, I didn’t know. He said, “Hey, it’s okay, he needs a little contact.”

That’s my Chuck Smith Story. He was my Geography teacher, and Coach for a week. Always a positive guy and I’m blessed for his influence in life. I saw him years later and we had a great conversation.

A lot has changed over the years. Boyle got strong by building the program up from the ground up. Kindergarten through High School. I think all these players transferring in helps and hurts the program. Yes, you get talent transferring in, but the drive and pride is lost along the way when times get tough. There was a thread about who would win, the 2000 team or this team, the last game leaves no doubt. 2000 was after my time, but they wouldn’t have lost a game like that.

I will question Haddix. He’s a great Coach, no doubt. Appreciate what he’s done, but running the wildcat the rest of the game shows no faith in the rest of the team. Call it going with your strength, but there was another option besides laying it all on your superstar. My two cents ain’t worth much anymore, not even a cup of water at most restaurants that charge you for that now.

felt the same way in 2019 when Chuck Smith lost in title game by one. Then Haddix came in and won four straight titles. It’s never easy. Ask this seasons team.

Summing Up this year in one word Is Dissapointment, You Have One Of The Best Teams In Boyle County History And You Could Not Get The Job Done

12 years ago my team Scott county played Trinity in the 6A semi finals and had a 14-0 lead going into the 4th quarter. They ended up falling apart and lost 21-14.

Instead of letting the season be seen as a waste because of how good that team was, they got back to work and won 6A the next season.

Boyle county’s staff will soon be prepping for 2025 and will be right back in region finals looking for another state title. All will be fine.

Is this even a real question? You just had one of the greatest season in Boyle County history the stats you put up on nearly every elite team and completely dominated your district. You relied on a once in what may be generational type player even for Boyle county standards and he gave you everything he had just made two mistakes and one that was very costly at the end but still just proves he is human and not some machine. All this after Cov Cath played out of their minds and had a great game plan you loose by 3 so how is this your response to what happen? I mean were you expected to win absolutely you were the number 13 team in the nation but so was the Ohio team that Boyle goes on the road and let’s be honest not a lot of people had Boyle to win outside of their team, coaches and fans yet Boyle did decisivly. Boyle is and will still be a top tier program nothing changes heading into next season regardless what the fans in Boyle county think nor should it. Your not going to go undefeated for next 10 years just be happy you got to witness something special there and stop thinking the world is falling down bc you lost… it happens to everyone at some point.
