If memory serves, in 2018 they were solid but just had a murderer's row of a schedule. Their 2018 record doesn't tell the full tale. Danville was a top 10 team in an absolutely loaded 2A that season (CAL, DeSales, Glasgow, Mayfield were all 2A that year, and CAL was probably the best team in the bottom 5 classes that season). The district between them, LCA, and Somerset was close with Somerset coming out on top. Then in 2019 they took a step back and LCA and Somerset took a major leap forward. Even still, they were competitive with that Somerset team that won state in 2019.

I think he has rebuilt John Hardin. I don't know if Danville could lure him away. What does Danville have that might pull him away from JH? Because Danville is a bit of a mess right now.
