I am stunned! Covington Catholic flat out done it. Stack was spot on with his analyses.

I think you got the score reversed.  Dang. I was rooting for Boyle Co, but congrats to Cov Cath.

Wow. What an insane night of football. I caught the last 4 minutes of this one. Live i thought it was a touchback and when the replay showed i thought Montavin might have broke the line for a TD but either way what a crazy outcome.

I don’t even know what to say… WOW. Congrats to Covington Catholic. I thought this was the most predictable class out of all. I thought Boyle would run through this 4A. Going to be a fun end of the post season now.
#8
Wow that was a good game to watch. Hats off to cov cath. That qb ran all over Boyle co. #0 going down for Boyle really hurt them on both sides
Of the ball. Huge upset!!

I’d say Corbin fans are smiling ear to ear right now.

This postseason keeps rolling out the hits.

Great game. First time watching either team this year. I hadn't bought into the narrative that Boyle was the best team in any weight class but I did think they would win 4A. Congrats to Covington Catholic. I'm impressed.

What a game!!

Congrats Cov Cath! Best wishes moving forward!!

Boyle you had a heck of a run! No doubt you'll be right in the thick of things next year.

After what I watched at Campbell Field tonight, I think Corbin /Boyle would have been a helluva game next week. Damn shame we don't get to see it.

So does this mean Corbin has to go all the way to PT and Cov Cath will have to travel to Franklin?

I’m not overly surprised that the Colonels won. I am surprised that they traveled to Boyle and took a win. I mean it’s almost impossible to win there.

Not me. I think Corbin/Boyle would have been the game of the year. Pissed that I don't get to go see it. Now, I'll never get my shirt.

Covington Catholic gets revenge for their defeat in the 2023 AAAA State Finals by handing Boyle County their first home loss in the playoffs since 1993.

I believe now with Boyle's loss the 4A semis will be: Cov. Cath. at Franklin Co. and Corbin will make the trip to Paducah Tilghman

Well we knew going into this game Boyle had a subpar run defense. Cov cath exploited it. Boyle was running Quisenberry wildcat by the end of the game every play to save their season. The better team won tonight.

Congrats to Covington Catholic on the win they played the perfect game but after watching the replay of Quisenberry’s fumble multiple times he was either down at the 1 or he scored a TD, IMO the ball didn’t come out until he was in the end zone but it is what it is and now I’m rooting for Corbin to win a State championship.

Nope. The better team doesn't always win. The better team lost. Boyle wins  95 out of 100 played between these two.

What a game. A lot of folks in the stands at the Highlands game was watching it. Maybe Boyle was rooting their own horn a little too much.
#28
Congratulations to Covington Catholic must have been a heck of a performance by you guys

SStack, I read what you had posted on another thread, and you were spot on about Covington Catholic. They are definitely better than last year's team.
