What schools will be looking for a fresh face to run their programs after this years playoffs?
#2
I’m gonna offer some free money back guaranteed advice here.

If your program is struggling, and you feel like firing the head coach and just hiring a new head coach will fix it…..NO!

Football is a complex sport. To build a program from the ground up: you need to hire a guy and put him in the weight room; you MUST allocate teaching positions for quality assistant coaches to be hired; you can’t take all the money from your football program and throw it in a common “athletics” fund to help pay for cross country, golf, and soccer; kids want nice facilities- they will bail and go where the state of the art weight room and locker rooms, etc. are; AND you must give your high school head coach the control to over see the middle school and youth programs.

If your district isn’t willing to do these things, don’t bother firing your current head coach, because very little will change.

Danville for sure. If not, I don't see them having much of a football team for years to come. They've lost 23 straight...

Would have to think Danville is at the top of this list. Moving out of Central KY, I would then bet on Henry Clay, maybe Dunbar and West Jessamine being open also.

It should be.  Was hearing Tim Neace at first but have had more than one person mention Allan Holland taking over the reigns here lately.  Going to be interesting if true

But it isn’t yet; therefore, it probably doesn’t belong here…. Maybe start a thread about it?

Another poster suggested to start a thread since it is not open. I did that. So feel free to drop any insight you have. Thanks.

I don't see where any of these jobs are posted.  I saw where Coach Gay stepped down at HC but none of these are posted to my knowledge.

Floyd Central is officially open, HC stepped down last week as reported by local media. As for the other jobs listed, I am not sure

Heard LaRue’s coach has stepped down.  Been a down program with success in the past and looking for a program change with young talent upcoming and a new field. What kind of interests will teams like LaRue gain from coaches looking to rebuild a program?
