Hazard is going to win. They are at home and a win likely enables them to avoid Raceland in the 3rd round. I don’t think they enjoyed their last trip there.

You are correct. With a Hazard win, Pikeville would likely go to Sayre for round 3 unless Williamsburg beats Hazard in round 2. Pikeville will leapfrog Williamsburg and a few others in RPI this week with a win.

After watching clay at Bell County the other night, I was not nearly as impressed as I should have been to claim that clay can beat Hazard this week. Although they did have a crucial injury to their linebacker crew, 49 to 6 Is undeniable. Watching both games at Bell County this year, I can say that hazard should be 3 to 4 touchdowns better. However, that does not mean anything especially in the last week. I’ll take hazard 28 to 12.

Lots of math and because it depends on all their opponents and those schedules as well, I’d say not impossible but it would be a big jump for Pikeville to clear Hazard.

I truly don’t think it’s that big. As we stand hazard is .60771 while Pikeville is .59527

If you’re saying both win, Pikeville beat Hazard last week and went up around .027. Pikeville is down .012. Both would get a bump for a win and playing up a class and the rest depends on what the opponents on their schedule do and looking at their schedules, I doubt either gets a huge advance there this week to make the percentages carry Pikeville over Hazard. May end up being close and no I am not positive it won’t happen. Just seems like quite a bit for one week. It has some big playoff implications for 1A but I don’t think Pikeville jumps them.

Games to watch are Belfry vs Letcher. LCA vs Raceland, Breathitt vs Prestonsburg for Hazard purposes.

Clay appears to be pretty banged up. Will they rest up and try to get healthy for the playoffs?

If Clay Co gets healthy for the Bulldogs then it will be a war.

There's a lot of assumptions that Hazard is an automatic win over Williamsburg in the second round. Don't quite get that. Not the best Jackets team and this schedule has been awful, but can't understand why some folks seemingly don't think they have a shot at Hazard. As for this week, I'll take Hazard by 10 unless the Tigers get a few kids back.
