I don’t think BC coaches play money/politics. If so, DS doesn’t leave even with JS demanding his son start this season and Ashland making promises to him during the recruitment. As far as dad’s coaching their son. I would agree with you for the vast majority of the time. That would be a hard yes. That would be on an individual basis. EN trying to force himself on a bench with zero coaching experience. I would agree. You got to take that on an individual and experience basis. You can’t just blanketed say that. It’s not illegal to live in Ohio if you came in middle school and played through high school. It only illegal when he tries to move now. He would have to live in the district he is playing in. Ashland has the SP kid who lives in Ohio right now as well. But he came before 9th grade. That is legal. If they are in middle school they can live anywhere. PH from Morgan should have moved due to this rule. Did he? Some say yes. Some say no. Everyone in Ashland knows DS did not. Parents still living in their same house. Never moved. 2 brothers moved back due to personal issues from what I’m hearing. EN now is at 3rd school in 4 years. I would almost bet he will be in Ohio when this investigation wraps up. Who am I missing?

Transfer and recruitment are two different things. I think what upset schools are coaches actively recruiting their players. Such as the player you are talking about. An audio of the head coach talking to that kid. We all know that is against the rules. I will say this if we aren’t all going to play by the rules. Why have them and let them all recruit.

I am not aware of 90% of the 16th Region team actively recruiting kids and then beating their chest like they are world beaters. Ashland has a coach that says this in public. We will recruit your kids and beat you with them. That is the lack of self-awareness they have.

Could they be more?    I tend to forget is this 6, 7 or 8 region titles now.  That would explain a lot of the reasoning for kids leaving BC.    If I was the coach at BC to fix this problem i would part ways with the current HC and all of his team.  I would get the next Roger Zornes if he had to look like Jason Mays.  And we would win.  BC needs to clean up in house first and they are having a very hard time doing that right now.

As far as the BC kids you are talking about. They both have been raised better then to every turn on their friends and have a since of their community where they actually live. As far as I know. BC doesn’t have a recruited player. Unlike Ashland who currently had two recruited kids who never moved and Morgan county player that his brother plays for Morgan county right now. How does that happen? Of course the Sp kid who never moved and currently lives in sp. I do like how the video of the Ashland coach in Russell’s gym recruiting kids isn’t recruiting! Lol. Only an Ashland coach would have the audacity to say that. Especially coming off probation for recruiting!! ?

IF the rumors are true, and an Ashland coach did in fact work out a Russell student inside Russell facilities, then yes that could be grounds for ineligibility according to Bylaw 6 section 3) b) (4)

So you are admitting that the SP kid at Boyd did not make a FULL FAMILY MOVE?  Where do his sibling/siblings attend school?  Still in South Point?  He was recruited by the bench daddy! This is the only recruiting issue that needs to be investigated.  I understand why a kid would go to Ashland.. they win and put kids in NAIA, D-2 and D-1 colleges.  That makes sense to all of us.  Why would you go to Boyd?  They offer poor coaching, 2nd place regional trophies and play in a program that is designed to showcase 1 player.  Bench daddy makes sure of that.  Sounds like a great place to play!  ?

Tell us all something we didn't know. What do you think the punishment will be for their second offense less than two years and coming off probation just a few months ago for recruiting again. Of course, if all the rumors are true! LOL.

They currently only have 2 kids on their roster that even LIVE in Ashland. Ashland coaches don't have a feeder program to raise homegrown talent. They don't develop kids. They recruit other programs kids and act like they do something big. It really is a lack of self-awareness.

Ashlands only kids they have put anywhere is Villiars and Sellars. I don't know of another kid in the past few years they put a kid anywhere. Porter is Elliot County raised and lived there for his first year at Ashland. Which was illegal. We all know Carter lives in Greenup still and JM recruited him based of the Mays audio. Again know what you are talking about and no one outside of Ashland thinks that. Ashland can't even win the District the past few years. BC puts kids in college as well. The truth isn't in you!

BC coaching staff as whole is better than Ashland5-3 in the last two seasons. The program at Ashland only put ZC out in front we all know that. They do not nor have they showcased any other player. BC plays together as a team and that has been shown. BC has nicer facilities, better coaching and conditioning. BC doesn't have to hire out there coaching because they can't do it (Sasser). In general, you can't help what parents tell their kids at home. That tends to cause the most problems with any program. BC has won more games than anyone in the Region the past two season or maybe three. I don't know if you know the bench daddy or his background. You might want to check his basketball background before you bash him. He has actually coached and developed more kids on the Ashland bench then the Ashland coaches. No wonder they wanted his son and offered him everything under the sun to get him to go APB. That is facts. Appy Puss, you don't know that because you don't know APB kids. Shouldn't be hard. They only have 2 from Ashland.

I suppose it’s too bad they don’t determine regional championships based on season records and head to head competition. However….that’s not how it works. So you will have to live with Ashland’s 6 consecutive 16th region championships and most likely going to be 7 straight in March.
