Shelby County at Franklin County (Game Cancelled)
#1
Shelby County vs Franklin County. Thoughts.
#2
Flyers by as much as they want. Shelby County continues to be a dumpster fire, every since they "locked the gate"
#3
Maybe things will go better for Coach Jaggers and Shelby County in 2025. Not this game though.

Flyers 49
Shelby 7

Hope so for Coach Jaggers, definitely not his fault. He has a massive hole to dig them out of.
#5
Just can not believe they got anyone to take this job!! The everlasting effects of Marcus Harris.
#6
Shelby's coach resigned this evening...... what in the world!

A zoo with a gate locked at that…

I keep seeing stuff about Harris. What in the world did he do to create this big of a mess?
#11
"Marcus' story is still being written".... he's clearly left his lasting mark on Shelby County.
#12
Game will end 2-0

Shelby Forfeited.... Let this be a lesson to schools. who fire old coaches, and hire new flashy idiots (not this years coach) to take over programs.... I am sorry Coach Jaggers got drug into this mess. But knowing the admin. at Shelby and all the BS they were apart of last year.. You get what you get.

Don't forget that WH has Paul Rains on the sideline calling offensive plays. State championship winning coach makes a difference. Marksberry can coach, but so can Rains.
plus they have a coach who carries a boom box, so there's a difference maker too.

make a list of the top then things that get you fired..... then choose about and 8 or 9 of them... Then the idiot admin covered most of them up, and played dumb. Then the kids had a walk out.. its a complete laughing stock.

Jaggers was a bad hire to start with. Are they canceling the rest of the season or what?
#15
KHSAA has the score recorded 1-0 as all forfeits go.

Forfeits are RPI killers!
Franklin has fell to 3rd in the RPI as a result of the forfeit.
#16
Does Shelby Co. have the athletes and community interest to succeed if the admin got out of the way?

I don't understand the RPI at all.  I would think a forfeit win would be counted the same as a outright win on the field.  A winless Shelby County would hurt RPI as will Boyle playing a winless Lex Cath tomorrow.  Now OOWP for Lex Cath should be better than Shelby County's OOWP.

I don’t understand anything about the KHSAA’s RPI but playing a team with a losing record is actually better than winning with a forfeit just like it cost Corbin when North Hardin forfeited to them.

I can’t reconcile in my mind if North Hardin’s forfeit last year was a bold middle finger to the KHSAA and Corbin- OR- a gutless, cowardly move.

Can two things be true at the same time?
