What heck of a game between to rivals. These teams left it out there. Hazard never quit and kept fighting until the end. Hazard pretty much beat themselves in this one with turnovers and just mistakes throughout the game. Credit Breathitt for an excellent game and winning the LOS. They also played flawless tonight besides the one fumble. Good things happen when u take care of the ball. Hollon extended plays. The backs for Breathitt run hard all night. Was Sperry a difference? Yes he was. You take him out of this game and Hazard wins. Even in a loss here this was good for hazard to be in a battle like this.

Really because since 2001 Breathitt has very small lead . Tonight made 8-6 in total wins. So that don’t always beat hazard. If wasn’t for last 3 years winning we behind in total wins. Hazard has lot tradition and is good football team. This was good win for Bobcats now just need get back work and keep improving each week. This very young team and Sperry was really good tonight and going really help this team each week. This was total team effort tonight from defense to offense line backs and wr. But time get back work.

They ran it down Hazard’s throat pretty much the whole game. I feel like Breathitt is 2-3 touchdowns better than Hazard. I have to agree with chubby on this one. Breathitt appeared to me they controlled the line of scrimmage. The QB for hazard is very inconsistent as he would make throws that would make your head spin and then make a throw that left you scratching your head. Number zero for breathitt that plays safety can’t tackle a strong breeze. He falls to the ground every time he gets to the runner. I’d put 21 back at safety and let him have a go back there. 21 wasn’t fast enough to play corner but he would fair way better at safety. Other that I think breathitt is playing the right players no matter who’s on the sidelines. However I do see the complaint of dads on the sideline because I seen them coming from the bleachers by the end of the game and standing down there. Never would have happened in the Holcomb era.

Hollon for Breathitt is gritty and kept drives going even when in trouble. Hazard's secondary struggles tremendously, how do you lose Sperry and allow him a to be wide open on the 1 big pass play. Two big penalites that left Breathitt on the field in the PI and the offisides. Both were on 3rd or 4th downs extending their drive. Pelfrey has been good this season but in this one seemed he was off on his throws. Breathitt put a lot of pressure on him. Both interceptions was terrible throws on his part. Couple bad snaps late for Hazard killed a scoring drive. All in all it was a good physical football game. And for once the refs had very little to do with the game.

Looked like to me the best QB on the field tonight was another freshmen. Breathitt kept running the same stuff and Hazard made adjustments is what I think happened the 2nd half.

Let's not act like it was all one sided. I have seen video of Breathitt constantly low blocking Hazard's defenders and was that called, no. I also disagree with the block in the back that they called on the Return for Hazard that took a TD off the board. Saw #72 for Hazard having to fix his jersey several times for the holds that was not called. The refs was not one sided. There was missed calls or no calls on both sides and there is no reason to act like it wasn't. Rewatch the game but actually do so without any bias and then you will probably actually see that. Breathitt won this game upfront and that is all there is to it. Refs didn't take it from Hazard and they didn't try to help Hazard. Good win by the Bobcats and hopefully they continue this success. Hopefully Hazard builds off this loss and improves.

Refs was pretty bad. Do u realize hazard had zero hold calls and no face calls against them. I seen at least 6 they didn’t call. 100 % not fumble on goal line kid was getting up out pile kid knock ball out . Oh yeah then face mask on them spuds look right at it. He called fumble . Then the long throw Sperry that was td that took off board. Ref mars out 1 then meet called no catch and defense pass interference. Then what should been safety. Someone wrote on this said he did. They need go re watch. He never made back to goal line. Do I think refs cheated maybe not.because they missed some stuff on both teams.I honestly respect them Guys for what do but get better.

Let's not act like it was all one sided. I have seen video of Breathitt constantly low blocking Hazard's defenders and was that called, no. I also disagree with the block in the back that they called on the Return for Hazard that took a TD off the board. Saw #72 for Hazard having to fix his jersey several times for the holds that was not called. The refs was not one sided. There was missed calls or no calls on both sides and there is no reason to act like it wasn't. Rewatch the game but actually do so without any bias and then you will probably actually see that. Breathitt won this game upfront and that is all there is to it. Refs didn't take it from Hazard and they didn't try to help Hazard. Good win by the Bobcats and hopefully they continue this success. Hopefully Hazard builds off this loss and improves.

I saw a Breathitt one time get up and flex over top a Hazard kid after a pass deflection in front of the side judge on the Breathitt side and no flag was thrown and he was directly looking at it. The only call that impacted the game is the touchdown taken off the board. But back to it Breathitt won this game. There kids played hard and they executed there game plan. They played there best game of the season. Now we seee if Breathitt can put it together for 2 weeks in a row as they face a tough Letcher team.

Some takeaways for me is Hazard finally let the failed PATs bite em as they left point off the board that was enough to win the game. Breathitt dominated the run game on both sides of the ball. Hollon for Breathitt is gritty and kept drives going even when in trouble. Hazard's secondary struggles tremendously, how do you lose Sperry and allow him a to be wide open on the 1 big pass play. Two big penalites that left Breathitt on the field in the PI and the offisides. Both were on 3rd or 4th downs extending their drive. Pelfrey has been good this season but in this one seemed he was off on his throws. Breathitt put a lot of pressure on him. Both interceptions was terrible throws on his part. Couple bad snaps late for Hazard killed a scoring drive. All in all it was a good physical football game. And for once the refs had very little to do with the game.

Letcher is good total agree. But Breathitt has already played 4 teams in top 10 in mountains. They had brutal schedule. They once again have hands full next Friday. But if play energy and played hard and win turnover battle . They will have chance win
