It should have been the reverse. Ain’t nobody touching them this year. Anybody got any links to Ohio sports boards we can read? Lol
Let me guess, you predicted Boyle to win but didn't tell any of us until the game was over. Rinse. Repeat.

Those announcers were dynamite. Top notch!!!

I haven't been proud to be a Kentuckian in quite some time. But I am today. Thanks, Rebels!!!!

I'll have it at Mi Pueblo with a side of Queso.

Boyle play calling was excellent. Maybe the most impressive thing beside the win and the obvious(Quisenberry and Brown)is the line play,Boyle’s undersized line against a dline and Oline that were massive on Edwards. Kelly, McClure and Driver going both ways and not wearing down. Most of Boyle’s kids go both ways, line play is just different. Just so fundamentally sound and well coached upfront.

I couldn't agree more. Huge efforts from the line to win. I quoted McClure on a post in the Bryan Station thread. He talked about the feeling of responsibility the team has. What a great attitude, and it showed in today's game.

I don't think a KY HS football team has ever had a win over a higher ranked opponent than what Boyle garnered today. My hat is off to this superb team. They personify excellence of execution in every aspect of the game. Outstanding job representing Kentucky!!!

Forget to mention Josiah Richards. He's been playing great so far this season!

Congrats Boyle Co and Coach Haddix very impressive win

Absolute statement win. Ohio football is usually on a different level so this win for them clearly establishes them as the best team in the state. Congrats Coach Haddix!

Like I said years ago….wouldn’t it have just been easier for them boys to keep their shiny helmets and rap music?? Hahah. What could have been I guess…. Congrats Boyle. I love posting at the beginning of every year and the last of year to remind folks. I use to tell people to lower the hype because the best team usually isn’t much better than the 2nd best team. Going all the back to the the boyle JC days to the Corbin Boyle days…. Not this year. Boyle will put a running clock on everyone in 4A. If not running, then a brisk jogging clock!!!

Another thing the announcer said and once again these guys were the best no bias in them

"Doesn't matter what division you're in football is football and we are seeing it from this Boyle county team said they play Scott county next week and I don't know who Scott county is but they better play good or Boyle gonna run them out of the stadium"

You might be right. That was a helluva lot of fun watching those boys play football the way it should be played. Just outstanding!!!

Congratulations Boyle! my take away from this is that it shows the level of football being played in 4A football in Kentucky over the last several seasons and validates Corbin as well. they have been the only team to give these guys a tight game over the last several seasons and I don't expect it to change this year either.

It's been comical seeing Danville and Corbin take moral victories from this win. Good for them guys.

it definitely better than them saying that national ranking high school football with no governance is like winning one the many cheerleading "National Championships" they have at Disney ever other weekend or being a 1A school in the top 25 on KSR rankings. Boyle is a really good football team don't get me wrong but I guarantee they don't want to travel anywhere near GA, FL or Texas to prove it in the future either.

People were saying Boyle didn't want to travel anywhere near Ohio to prove it before last weekend, too.

St. Edward's was Boyle's first ever football game outside the state of Kentucky EVER!  14th. is nice recognition but winning the Ky. 4A Championship is the big picture.  I believe Haddix likes his chances with this team reguardless of where the game is played.  Proved that by going to Cleveland and whipping the #12 team in the country.

Cost big money to take the team, managers, coaches out of state with hotel rooms, charter buses, and meals.  Had not St. Edward paid Boyle big dollars to come up there on a 1 game contract to get their butt kicked it would have never had happened!   Smile

I was trying to remember what they said. I also heard them talking about Haddix big ring on that finger. They kept going on and on about that. I thought the announcers was very good and gave Boyle alot of compliments. The entire game really.
