I was at this gamr and I wouldnt take this against ST Edwards they were evenly matched with boyle untill the 2nd Half Boyle Really Turned It On

The true winner today is OSH as God allowing a terrible person like Justin haddix to win a big game vs a Catholic school has made me question my faith

Big congrats to the Boyle fans on their win and the Corbin fans who use Boyles success to validate the lack of their own!!!!
Lmao terrible guy? Haddix was the best thing Corbin lost? Don’t believe that ask any red hound we hear it on here all the time he went to Ohio and took it to a top 15 team in the nation not ky but nation he beat teams that only Trinity and the great Bob Beaty beat on the regular be salty all you want but he is the greatest coach Corbin lost and would take back tomorrow if he would come back and someone that probably won’t be touched for years to come at Boyle

I'm fired up after this!!!! And, a little demoralized. My Hounds have no chance. 10 Boyle possessions, 10 Boyle scores against my red dogs.

Great win for Boyle, but I’m telling you, paducah TILGHMAN will be hard to beat

And he told friends of mine he wanted the Corbin job again.  But, as usual, Corbin fumbled Haddix away inside the redzone in the fourth quarter. Probably their last chance.  42 years without a title means you are not very good at taking advantage of opportunities given you.

I agree. Before today, I thought PT would give Boyle a helluva game. After today, I don't know that anyone will.

PT will have there chance to prove how good they are from the 3rd round on. Fact!

Yep. I don't think anyone beats the Justin Rebs after today. Only injuries to key Boyle  personnel would allow PT or Corbin to be competitive.

Bull, would you remind me without me having to research it how the playoffs are likely to play out in the third and fourth rounds? How does it work again? Seeded districts and cross district play for first two rounds. What about rounds three and four. I know RPI comes into play at that point.

A massacre of epic proportions.  As Lou Holtz would say, with a straight face, we have no chance.

Boyle just manhandled a national power on their own field. No one in KY is coming close to them.

I see Boyle and Corbin potentially being if they win the games they supposed to being the two top teams in the East, so they should be separated till the. Finals. The two top seeds in the West will be Franklin and PT. But they won’t see an East team till the 4th round. Now JC, Cc, Ashland all will have there say so in this as they can win the games they play against a Corbin, Ashland, Cc, or JC and get in that 4th Round game. But for me the top two teams in the East are Boyle and then Corbin, JC, Cc, Ashland. Now that’s as of today. We are still early in the season. Teams can get better and if they win the head to head matchup that changes everything. I do think Boyle will end up now the top overall RPI, PT, Franklin but they are in the West and then Corbin. That’s just my wild guess today based on what I have seen.

64 , Bull ... How would this happen? Won't Boyle/Corbin be likely opponents in Round 3 like last season?

Wouldn't the #1 and #4 seeds play each other before the finals?

Corbin doesn’t automatically just play Boyle in round 3 every year. Last season. Covington Catholic had the overall top seed and knocked Boyle to 2 and  Corbin
to 3. So this year Boyle should be the top seed in the East. So Corbin can be 2cd or 3rd and still not play Boyle in round 3. Only way they play Boyle would be as a 4 seed. The way I got it figured. Corbin should be 2cd or 3rd seed in East by seasons end.

RPI will mean a lot. I think with an Ashland, Cov Cath, and Johnson Central loss already Boyle - Corbin top 2 in the East. But, Tilghman could very well keep the Rebs and Dogs as top 2 overall and mean another Corbin - Boyle meeting before the championship game. I don’t see PT losing and going 10-0. That meeting would be in the 4th. Round

Remember. Though. 3rd round doesn’t include West teams no matter if there RPI is better.

So, how does Corbin avoid Boyle ?     Avoid being #4 to Boyle's #1  or #3 to Boyle's #2?

It does not matter where PT and Franklin are for round 3. It only matters where Boyle, Corbin, JC, CC, Ashland are seeded in round 3. So out of those 5 teams. Whomever is the 1 seed will play the 4 seed. Round 3 East teams only. Whomever is 2cd seed RPI, will play 3rd seed RPI East teams only. So right now if Cc, JC, Ashland can be top East seed team and I don’t think they can take Boyles place at the top. Then Corbin, JC, Ashland , CC will be 2-4. So I think Corbin is the 2or 3. Not a 4. So that’s why I say. Corbin and Boyle won’t see each other until the finals. If each team wins out.

Corbin is NOT winning out. They lose in Lexington!!!

A little late on my part, but congratulations to Boyle. Congratulations to the coaches, congratulations to the fans both at home and those who travelled with the team, but most of all congratulations to the kids that just shocked the world. There is nothing we can say in this forum to appropriately express the pride we feel. On days like this, I'm reminded of the good in high school football and why we follow it so closely. Well done, Boyle.

It should have been the reverse. Ain’t nobody touching them this year. Anybody got any links to Ohio sports boards we can read? Lol

I got Boyle County in an upset of the number #25 team in the Nation. Boyle County looks to me that they may be better than last season. Call it the addition of coaching staff, call it the weight room in the offseason. I know one thing. They are tuff. LCA game and Bryan Station game was like watching two totally different teams on the field. Haddix will pull all the tricks in this one to prove a point. I have to pull for the top team in the Bluegrass State. Go Boyle!

St. Edwards 31.

PT and Franklin can run the table and split up the RPI rankings if Boyle and Corbin don’t go undefeated.
