Lexington Catholic at Corbin 9/6

Lexington Catholic at Corbin. Thoughts?

MARK MY WORDS! Lex Catholic will be 0-6 to begin the season. They are already 0-2 and they have Corbin, Great Crossing (who’s a lot better), LCA and Boyle in the next 4 games. And to be honest, Lex Catholic might just get a running clock on them in all 4 games. Now with that said, they still can win their weak district and get a #1 seed and will host a playoff game or 2.

I don't think Great Crossing is a better team than Corbin.  Smile But I agree, Lex Catholic is still a deep runner in Class 3A.

I think Corbin wins by more than they did last year.

Corbin has not impressed me so far. I think the Pulaski game next week could be a wake up call for the Hounds. Pulaski can win at Corbin if the Hounds remain sloppy. Corbin needs their two D1 Mountaineers to suit up. Both kids can play on both sides of the ball.

I don’t mean Great Crossing is better than Corbin, good gawd no. I mean they are “a lot better than last year and previous seasons”.

Yes they are. I was reading about Lexington Catholic. They have played the first two teams in parts of the game tuff.

Corbin will score early and often and win by whatever amount they want.
Catholic OL does not have anyone over 200lb. If Catholic ends up with 100 yds of offense, it will only be by the Grace of God.

Before the season I thought on paper this may be a tough game for Corbin. After their week 2 performances, I now know I was very confused. I think Corbin blows this one out and stands a good chance to put the running clock on. Kade Elam and that Corbin offense is efficient, high powered and can score in a hurry.
