Harlan County 67 Warren Central 59 (KHSAA Boys' Sweet 16®)
#1
Final. A good game just too much Trent Noah for the Dragons. Harlan County will play the Newport/Campbell Co. winner at 6:00 on Friday. Harlan Co. improves to 32-4 Warren Cent. finishes the season at 17-12 on the quest to repeat as state champs. It ends a great career by Kade Unseld.

I listened to the game; couldn't attend. Unseld and Hammer were two names I heard over and over again. HC commentators were so impressed with those two young men!

Congratulations Black Bears. First time in school history HC has ever won a game at this level.

I'm so tickled for these boys!!!

Thought Harlan County was going to tighten up and let it slip away when the lead was cut to two late. Credit to them for keeping their composure and pushing their lead back out.

Noah played extremely well on the big stage.

I'm going to imagine that there'll be a lot of Camels fans in from Eastern Kentucky later tonight.

It was because of that damn stall ball.  I HATE stall ball!!!  The only thing it's good for is breaking your momentum.

I am thrilled to death because this is such a good group of boys!!! They deserve all the good that they can get.
I've been sick since Saturday, so have to rely on the radio commentators. That's okay though.

If Tylen Kinney is unable to play (he pulled a hamstring in regional) Campbell will have a real shot at winning.

Not liking your post because someone got injured, but I wasn't aware of that, as I haven't kept up with some regions like I used to.

That is definitely going to have a huge impact on Newport.

He was probably seen as one of the top players in the entire tournament.

I didn't mean anything about the player getting injured just that it will have a big impact on the game. I never want to see a high school kid injured especially when it is in the biggest game and on the state's biggest stage.

I was meaning that I'd "liked" your post and didn't want to give the impression that I gave a like because a kid got hurt.

Whatever it takes, be there in person or at home on the radio.   That old black radio here still brings in these
games loud and clear when I can't get to a game because of work or obligations.   I am thrilled for these boys,
been a fan for awhile now!   =)

Both live audio/video feeds and replays are available on the NFHS Network. I'm pretty sure you can sign up and cancel at anytime. It's around $11 per month.
