Yes that’s the kid Estridge kid, hearing there isn’t anyway he’s back at Prestonsburg, I know at end of year the Coach benched him for the kid with tattoos, couldn’t imagine their happy. I ask his father at end of year said he didn’t know what they would do but Betsy Layne plays the style his kid likes to play but he’s not the one I think we get on the hill, still having another parent say there kid was coming.have you guys heard anything on the kid from Paintsville going to JC if that’s true the Region will go threw them next season. Heard two Valley 8th graders end up in Pikeville

Betsy Layne isn't guard poor.  You have Carter Parsons, Cameron Pente, Isiah Allen (hope he comes back out, Braden Hall and Andrew Collins that could all play 1-3 spot.  So adding that kid from Prestonsburg wouldn't make sense. They need forwards and centers.

Betsy Layne has a couple to kids that can play forward at a high quality level walking down their hallways everyday that played for the elementary. But for some reason don't play for the high school. Just need to get them coming back out.

I wouldn’t say the parent announced it. Just close friends that hinted about playing together next year.

I believe all it will take is one kid to leave and the rest will start looking elsewhere. Prestonsburg will be one of the more experienced teams next year, could have a really good year.

Told you guys, he’s still not the one we are getting but I talk to the boys father at region, he said he felt the coach screwed his kid I tend to agree, you don’t not play a kid like that but who knows, the kid could have been an issue, could have been off the court stuff, we don t know, but if it wasn’t that, man how do you not play a kid like that. Isaiah Allen will be the big shocker this season, he’s exactly what Carter and the boys need, Mike will really develop Hammond and Combs, then if we get the kid I’m thinking we will run the 58th. I think the Cole kid going to JC is false, his family told someone they aren’t going anywhere. Do know Martin County got a football player from JC, does anyone know if he plays basketball?
