Floyd Central looked good last year too, winning 8 of their last 9 and beating eventual region champion MC.

Their regular season play has never been the issue. If they don’t win the district and/or region it will be another failed season. 

They haven’t made it out of the first round of the district in the last 4 years I believe.

Coaching willl bite Floyd Central the guy gives his son playing time over others that should be in there, his son is good but others on that team could help to. Good win for the Jaguars they have some good kids on that team

No they haven't. They've made the region tournament twice since they opened, the first two years the school was open. Lost to Paintsville both times. To this day, people there say if anyone but Kevin Spurlock was the coach, they would have won the region that first year. The second year of the school was the year Spurlock resigned midyear and Shawn Hager lead them to a surprise District Title. Haven't been back since.

Not sure if it will continue or not but he Floyd central coach didn’t play his boy a whole lot against Martin County. They looked really good. And will be tough out for anyone if they make it to regions. If they play like they did against Martin County.
