Losing will bring out the worst in alot of people, including the fans!!! I'm done Bull. Good luck to Breathitt.I talked to my brother-in-law in Jackson and he said that politics had alot to do with what happened to Coach Hall, but it was more a decision from the new superintendant rather than one from Coach Holcomb. Either way, a bad situation.

I think what happened to Hall was a result of the expectations by fans being out of bounds for last year's team because the nucleus of that team had won the Middle School state tournament 2 years ago. But several of the kids on that team were redshirt players who were quite a bit taller/bigger than the average middle schooler. And only about 20% of the state's middle schools participated in the tournament, so it wasn't really a "State Tournament". But it evidently got the Bobcat faithful all worked up, with the impression that in a couple of years they would be back at Rupp in March.
What happened was these kid's haven't lived up to those expectations. They've still got a ways to go, and some of it is beyond anything Hall could have done, mainly because people weren't patient enough. I mean, the big center is SLOW!!!!!!! footed, with no quickness. He is one of the kids that the locals were really focused on to carry Breathitt to greatness, and he may still do that, but he has not reached his potential. I believe he would have finally started to blossum this year with Hall's coaching, but he wasn't given the chance.
Banks had better show his stuff this year or he could be shown the door as well. Evidently, patience is not a thing Breathitt officials are noted for.
