I think Boyle by at least two TD’s. Not sure that Corbin is truly ready for the speed that Boyle is going to bring to them. Hopefully I’m wrong and it’s a great game.
#7
You’re right about the speed. Boyle is the fastest team I have seen in years. I am going to stick with three scores.

Corbin is better, Boyle is faster. Better doesn’t always mean you win. I think speed gives Boyle the advantage. That being said, they’ve not played a defense close to Corbin. Hounds can definitely slow them down. The key is make sure they keep their scoring opportunities to a minimum.

Excellent post.  I agree with all you said. Corbin is probably the better football team. Boyle is faster.  I look for Corbin to be very, VERY VERY physical with the smaller Rebs and try to impose their will. Can the Hounds come up with a plan to mitigate Boyle's speed?  Can they limit Boyle's scoring chances and take advantage of their own scoring opportunities?  Boyle has a clear coaching advantage. Can Corbin turn a couple of Rebel miscues into scores, thus offsetting the coaching advantage?  Just like last season, if the coaches were on opposite sidelines, I'd be very confident that the Hounds would win. But they aren't , so they probably won't.

I bet the Boyle County QB will be getting rid of the ball quickly.
#13
I'm still firm on Boyle by 21.

I'll say 35-14 or 28-7.

Corbin has the potential to win this  one,  but we all know they are in trouble if  they don't disrupt Boyle County's high  powered offense.

I would think Corbin's whole secondary is likely more scared than Dawson knowing a missed tackle on Quisenberry, Dawson, Bodner and either of the Brown receivers will result in a long gain or TD. To me, that is more scary than a sack and more of a game changer because you can make up for the sack, but not the TDs. I would suggest some therapy this week to have them prepared for that as we know it is likely to happen and have them know life goes on. It's only a football game and do not worry about the Corbin faithful blaming them. It has happened to every team Boyle has played and Corbin athletes aren't that speedy.

It should be a great game for the players and the fans as there is much respect going around.

If we don’t get certain weak spots off the field on D and play our play makers on both sides, it could be a struggle for us

Corbin will be easy work for Boyle. Boyle by 21+.

Corbin just doesn’t have the offense.

Boyle 35
Corbin 14

Can a mod change the date on thread title? I put 10/17 instead of 11/17

Corbin has plenty of offense if they will open it up and get the ball into the hands of their playmakers.

If I take my signs to Danville, do you think they will be confiscated?

Saying one is better doesn't make you better, just an opinion. Proof will be the end result.

Is it a given that Corbin's defense is better than Boyle's? I'm not sure it is.
