LC has a stronger defense. Boyd has an explosive offense and the best player on the field in Rhett Holbrook.
Boyd’s schedule isn’t such that it makes much difference. Coaching decisions will be interesting to see.

If LC had multiple players as good as Holbrook they would have beat Shelby Valley 50-0 and won at Belfry too...

Here's the thing I don't understand about Boyd. Their middle school teams are terrible year in and year out. As in, not remotely competitive terrible. Yet, their varsity teams have been pretty good the last couple years. I know middle school results don't translate perfectly to the varsity level, but there's a correlation. Is it coaching? Are they getting transfers?

Like I said in the other thread, I like this matchup for LC. Their defense has been very good and Boyd hasn't been able to stop anybody. I think the defense keeps LC in the game and the offense does just enough to win by a TD. They tend to play to the level of the competition, and I think Boyd's good enough to get their attention.

I wouldn’t say their high school is great this year. Their 4-4 and were blown out by JC and Ashland.

If anyone was at that Shelby Valley and Belfry game then you saw what happened. The Bulldogs beat themselves in the SV game and Belfry made the plays they needed to in order to win. If you think LC doesn’t have the players then you will be pleasantly surprised on Friday. These are two solid teams.

That’s what I like about you lcgrad you have a lot of faith in your team but give no respect to the 2 teams that beat you but they had nothing to do with winning those games just LC gave it away very good outlook

Now I agree with that and by the way middle school is looking and that could go on for awhile the special part I am talking about
