Franklin County 29 Southwestern 28
#1
Final

Congratulations Franklin County!!!
#2
Congrats Franklin! They made the plays when they needed to.
#3
Melt down by the Warriors defense.
#4
Gambles late for Southwestern did not pay off .
#5
Way to go Flyers.
#6
Flyers better team… but had a mile of penalties and a few costly turnovers. Defense missed a ton of tackles.
#7
Congratulations Franklin County!!
#8

The Southwestern player getting the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after the touchdown made that a much more comfortable call.  Great comeback.

He wasn’t kicking that either way, but yes made the play call easier with your 220 pound rb.

Southwestern defense isn’t the problem. The one sided offense definitely is. Hate to have some talented receivers and not be able to get them the ball. Makes the offense entirely too predictable.

Two very good and similar teams. Both teams very physical. Franklin never quit and are having a great year when they were expected to be a little down and young. They just keep winning and that shows they are well coached and are definitely a high effort team......but they were fortunate to win this game. They did and that's all that matters, but they were fortunate.

Franklin ain’t gonna role over for none of us in the playoffs. Covington Catholic ain’t either. Everyone keeps saying The Hounds and Boyle County is a two horse race. I think it’s a four horse race with Haddix riding the Money Horse. Could be Boyle top dog and three other teams vying for runner up..Stay focused Hounds..

Flyers very fortunate indeed. But that’s why you gotta line it up.

Congrats Franklin, Southwestern let one get away but gotta give Franklin credit they didn’t quit!!!

SW had a lot of things go their way In This game on top of being a good team.
#17
Not sure why SW didn't punt from midfield under a minute (FC no timeouts). It was 4&6 too, just don't get it?? Maybe the coach was still thinking about the bad snap on their punt late in the 2Q. Up 14-3 with 1:30, seemed to change the momentum after FC scored and made it 14-10 going into the locker room.

FC has pressured the punter fairly well this year, Also very dangerous in the return game.

SW blew this game. Can't believe they let Franklin throw for as many yards as they did
#20
FC had a lot of offense called back in this one... As well.
#21
As a neutral fan, it was a great game to watch. I knew FC would go for 2 if they scored. Two really good football teams.

I bet FC would have loved them to pass more.. every ball was an almost pic. Except one to the rb.
