In other news Thursday, Bengals linebacker Odell Thurman has been suspended for the first four games of the 2006 regular season by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy, according to profootballtalk.com and the Cincinnati Enquirer. The Bengals officially have no comment on the report, and Thurman's agent, Safarrah Lawson, wouldn't confirm or deny it.

Trent Green, who had reconstructive knee surgery himself, told Palmer that he can come back and be even better than he was. And, that since it was Palmer's left knee and not his planting knee, he shouldn't have any trouble.

Marvin thinks Palmer will be practicing when training camp opens (I plan on going down there a few days)

I am looking at getting tickets for the game in Baltimore, but not sure about taking my kid there while I wear Bengals' attire. I cannot wait until the season starts.

I can't wait till the Bengals suit up for their first game...It will be an enlightenment to the rest of NFL fans accross the universe who undoubtedly continue to put down the best club the Bengals have ever had. They are soooo skilled. IMO, they have the best and deepest recievers bench in the league(if they can keep henry out of trouble). Palmer will be ready... He is a pocket passer and the injury was not to his plant leg. The only thing that the bengals have to worry about is their offensive line. If they can't sign all of them back they will struggle, however, they will not struggle too bad.

The Bengals will, and I mean will, Go to the superbowl. Mark my words...I have been a long time Bengals fan...I am also a realist who takes everything in to consideration, however, you just have to put faith in some things ...I put my Football faith 100% in the hands of the Bengals

Marvin says, as I've pointed out all along, that there are no problems with the team, he's handling all the discipline. http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=5340 He also points out all of the additions and how much better they all will make the team. He also continues to say that Palmer will be the opening day quarterback.

Chad says he's still going to celebrate big even though the league is getting harsh on restrictions. He's also going to be more consistant and wants the ball in clutch, he wants to be more of a leader

Levi Jones just signed a contract to keep him here through like 2011.

Also, one of the players in trouble (Askew, I think), apparantly got the shaft. He was illegally parked, the cops said "move your car or we'll arrest you," so, he decided to take option number one, got in his car, and the cops thought he was fleeing, so they tased him. So, that's one discipline problem that all you haters can cross of your list.

That's so beautiful..... I told everyone that the Bengals were so playing it and that Palmer would be ready for opening day, but I had no idea that he'd be ready this soon or that they'd plan on him being the starter in training camp.
